
Box Office: Kung Fu Panda 4 Becomes Fourth Highest-Grossing Animated Hollywood Film In India
Mumbai, March 26 - Universal Pictures' animated martial arts comedy film Kung Fu Panda 4 has emerged as a success story at the Indian box office with a gross collection of over 30 crores through the second weekend. ## The fourth instalment in the Kung Fu Panda franchise and the sequel to Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) has also become the fourth highest-grossing animated Hollywood film in India as far as the net collection is concerned. The movie scored approximately 26 crores net (31 crores gross or $3.75 million) in 11 days. ## Kung Fu Panda 4 needs another 6 crores net to beat its predecessor, Kung Fu Panda 3 (32 crores net) to become the third biggest Hollywood animated movie in India. The Lion King is currently the biggest grosser with around 158 crores net collection, followed by Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse which scored 44 crores net. ## Made on a budget of $85 million, the latest instalment is having an excellent run globally, nearing the $300 million mark. In North America, the movie has so far made approximately $133 million while overseas collection is $136 million for $269 million (2250 crores) worldwide total. ## Stay tuned...
