Shraddha Kapoor Locks Her Next Film After Stree 2
Mumbai, August 20 - After the historic success of Stree 2 last year, Shraddha Kapoor has been busy finalising her next. The actress was supposed to headline producer Ekta Kapoor's female-led film, but it was dropped due to some issues. ## Now, according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, Shraddha is set to reunite with producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films for a period musical drama. It will be directed by Maddock's regular collaborator, Laxman Utekar, who directed the historical blockbuster Chhaava earlier this year. ## It is said that Laxman Utekar is exploring a one-of-its-kind period musical set on the life of a dancer, to be played by Shraddha Kapoor. The actress has already started to train in learning classical form of dance. ## The film in question has already started pre-production work, and makers are looking to take it on the floors in the month of November 2025. It will be shot over a period of six months, leading to a grand release in the second half of 2026. It will be Shraddha's first release since Stree 2. ## Meanwhile, there were rumours that Shraddha would reunite with her Aashiqui 2 co-star Aditya Roy Kapoor and director Mohit Suri. But there has been no official confirmation regarding the same. Meanwhile, the actress already has Naagin in the pipeline, which was announced a long time back, but there is no shooting timeline revealed yet. ## Stay tuned...
