Hyderabad, August 21 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's much-awaited fantasy action drama Vishwambhara with Bimbisara director Mallidi Vassishta, has officially been postponed yet again amid endless rumours, pushing its release from the summer of 2025 to the next year. The film, which has already generated massive buzz among fans, was initially slated for a grand January 2025 release before being moved to mid-2025. According to the makers, the delay comes as the team requires additional time to polish the film's heavy VFX work, which plays a crucial role in bringing its larger-than-life vision to the big screen. On August 21, the makers shared a video featuring Chiranjeevi, in which the megastar addressed fans' concerns regarding the continuous delay in the film's release. "The second half of Vishwambhara is driven entirely by VFX and graphics. The delay is a conscious choice to ensure the highest quality. This is a film being made with passion, without cutting corners," said Chiranjeevi. It was then revealed that Vishwambhara will now hit the big screen in the summer of 2026. While the exact date was not revealed, reliable reports say it will hit the screens in April. While fans will have to wait longer for the film's theatrical release, there is still reason to celebrate. The much-anticipated teaser of Vishwambhara, in the form of a special glimpse, will be unveiled on August 21 at 6:06 PM, perfectly timed with the eve of Chiranjeevi's birthday. Hyderabad, August 16 - One of the biggest Indian films in the making is a combination of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and director Atlee, has a famous addition to its already blockbuster casting, which includes Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## According to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, the makers have roped in South actress Ramya Krishnan, known for her iconic portrayal of Rajamata Sivagami Devi in SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster Baahubali franchise. She has reportedly been signed on for a prominent role in the action spectacle. ## Set in a parallel universe, AA22xA6 is said to be a high-concept VFX-driven spectacle, to which many national and international artists are attached. To elevate the film's action quotient, Atlee has roped in leading Hollywood stunt choreographers, including Spiro Razatos, who is known for working on Marvel movies and Indian tentpoles like Jawan and War 2. ## The shoot of the film has already commenced in June this year. Hyderabad, August 13 - Pan-India superstar Prabhas-fronted romantic horror comedy The Raja Saab has landed in legal trouble, over alleged contractual breaches. The film was already facing a delay, and now, the legal hurdle will further complicate things. ## Delhi-based Ivy Entertainment has filed a case in the Delhi High Court against co-producer People Media Factory (PMF). The production house claims it invested a staggering 218 crore for theatrical and non-theatrical rights, co-presenter credits, and guaranteed returns. ## According to reports, Ivy Entertainment alleged that PMF failed to fulfil several critical commitments, including completing and releasing the film within the agreed timeline, monthly production updates, disclosing how funds were being utilised, delivering agreed materials, and postponing the theatrical release without justification. ## The company has reportedly demanded either a full refund of 218 crores with 18% annual interest or control of the project to complete and release the film themselves to safeguard its substantial investment. The movie is reportedly being made on a 400 crore budget. ## Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab is scheduled to release on December 5, 2025, but reliable reports have confirmed that it will be postponed to January 9, 2026.
