All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is set to air the inaugural episode of its new Saturday night show, Collision, on June 17, 2023. The debut episode will feature a stacked card, headlined by the return of CM Punk.

Punk will team up with FTR to face Bullet Club Gold & Samoa Joe in the main event. The match is a rematch from the AEW Revolution pay-per-view in March, where Punk and FTR defeated the Bullet Club. In another marquee match, Wardlow will defend his TNT Championship against Luchasaurus. Wardlow has been dominant since winning the title in March, and Luchasaurus will be a tough challenge for him.

The show will also feature the returns of Miro and Andrade El Idolo. Miro will face Buddy Matthews, and Andrade will face Darby Allin. Rounding out the card are two women's matches: Skye Blue & Willow Nightingale vs Ruby Soho & Toni Storm, and Mercedes Martinez vs Serena Deeb.

The inaugural episode of AEW Collusion emanates from the prestigious United Center in Chicago, Illinois, setting the stage for an electrifying night of professional wrestling. Taking charge of the announce team are the seasoned voices of Nigel McGuinness and Keven Kelly, ready to provide insightful commentary throughout the evening's events.

A relentless pursuit ensues as Wardlow fervently chases Cage, who seeks refuge beneath the ring's canvas. Eventually, Wardlow manages to roll Luchasaurus back into the ring, but as Wardlow positions himself on the apron, Cage seizes the opportunity to grasp Wardlow's leg. This strategic interference allows Luchasaurus to knock Wardlow to the floor, granting him control of the match.

Once back inside the ring, Luchasaurus takes charge, unleashing a relentless assault on Wardlow within the confines of the corner. Preparing for the climactic moment, Wardlow positions himself for a powerbomb, poised to bring the match to a decisive conclusion. However, Cage interjects once again, ascending the apron. Unfazed by Cage's presence, Wardlow intimidates him into retreat, clearing the path for the execution of the powerbomb. But as Wardlow takes his time before executing a second powerbomb, Luchasaurus seizes the opportunity to recover, countering with a chokeslam, narrowly securing a two-count.

In a display of incredible agility and strength, Wardlow executes a forceful slam before ascending the turnbuckles. With the crowd on the edge of their seats, Wardlow executes a breathtaking swanton bomb. However, Cage's persistence leads him back to the apron. Undeterred, Wardlow hurls Luchasaurus into the corner, causing Cage to drop down.

Seizing an opportune moment, Luchasaurus manages to escape, feigning injury and conveying his distress to the referee. Exploiting this distraction, Cage swiftly capitalizes, utilizing the camera atop the ring post to strike Wardlow, inflicting a brutal blow. Taking advantage of the chaos, Luchasaurus executes a blindsiding clothesline from behind, securing the pinfall and emerging victorious.

They lock up, and Buddy gets a side headlock. Andrade shoots him off, and Buddy delivers a shoulder tackle, but neither of them moves. Andrade slaps Buddy, and Buddy responds with a side headlock takeover. They run the ropes, and when Andrade is tossed into the ropes, he catches himself in them and executes the Tranquilo move. Buddy is knocked to the floor, and Andrade performs a cartwheel into a moonsault.

They continue fighting on the floor, and Andrade is tossed into the timekeeper's area. Andrade hits a hurricanrana, sending Buddy into the barricade. Andrade rolls Buddy back into the ring, but only gets a two-count. They battle on the turnbuckle, and Andrade is sent crashing into the barricade. Andrade is rolled back into the ring, where Buddy hits a meteora from the top rope, but it only earns him a two-count as the action goes into a picture-in-picture commercial break. When the broadcast returns to full screen, Andrade is seen on the floor, selling his shoulder and chest. He eventually rolls back into the ring, where Buddy unleashes a series of disrespectful kicks. Andrade retaliates by targeting Buddy's leg and executes a leg whip, maintaining the assault for two more near falls. Andrade follows up with a flying forearm and effortlessly kips up. He ascends to the top turnbuckle and performs a double moonsault, but Buddy manages to kick out at two.

Both men struggle to their feet, with Andrade being the first to rise. However, he takes too long to set up for a DDT, allowing Buddy to counter with a rope-assisted DDT for a close two-count. Buddy climbs to the top rope, and Andrade joins him there. They engage in a fierce struggle on the top turnbuckle. Unfortunately, Buddy's knee gives way, causing him to drop. Despite the setback, Buddy delivers a pair of kicks to Andrade but fails to execute a powerbomb due to his injured knee. Andrade charges at him, and both men end up back on the mat, once again down and out.

Andrade is the first to recover and charges towards Buddy, who manages to connect with a flying kick for a two-count. Buddy then attempts to apply a Texas Cloverleaf submission hold, but Andrade rolls through and sends Buddy crashing into the turnbuckle. Seizing the opportunity, Andrade locks in the figure-four leg lock. To intensify the pressure, Andrade bridges his back, and Buddy is left with no choice but to tap out.

Andrade extends a hand to help Buddy up, and Buddy pulls himself up using the ropes. Buddy goes to shake hands, but the lights suddenly go out. When they come back on, the rest of the House of Black is in the ring. Brody King delivers a clothesline that turns Andrade inside out, while Malakai Black crouches over him. Once again, the lights go out.

Then, a video plays, reintroducing Scorpio Sky.

Tony Nese stands in the ring with Smark Mark Sterling and declares, as a personal trainer, he cannot bear to look at the overweight crowd in Chicago. He announces that he is shutting down the show and that everyone will participate in group training.

Suddenly, Miro makes his entrance.

It appears that Miro has made a return as a babyface, and Tony is destined to endure a two-minute beatdown.

When Mark Sterling steps onto the apron, he receives a punch from Miro, allowing Nese to execute a couple of moves. However, Miro swiftly retaliates with the Macha kick and locks in the game over hold, securing the victory.

Before the bell rings, Toni and Ruby launch an attack and engage in a brawl outside the ring. Skye Blue's mom manages to land slaps on both Ruby and Toni. As the bell finally rings, Willow and Ruby find themselves in the ring. Willow delivers a powerful big boot, resulting in a two-count. She follows up with a pair of short clotheslines, but Ruby evades the third one. Ruby then whips Willow into the ropes, where Toni strikes Willow's back. This sets up Ruby to execute a Russian leg sweep as the action transitions to a picture-in-picture view.

Upon returning to full screen, Willow and Ruby exchange punches, leading to both women being knocked down. Willow manages to make the hot tag to Skye, who takes charge and cleans house on Toni. The sequence concludes with Skye performing a flying crossbody from the top rope, resulting in a near fall that is broken up by Ruby. The tag team siren blares, signaling all four women to enter the ring. Toni executes a back heel trip, transitioning into a Texas Cloverleaf submission hold. Skye crawls her way to the ropes for a rope break.

Skye executes a jackknife pin for a two-count and then tags in Willow, who delivers a pump handle slam. As Willow's straps come down, she prepares for a gut wrench move, but the distracted referee allows Ruby to rush in and strike Willow with No Future. Skye capitalizes on the opportunity and tags herself in, while Toni suplexes her into the corner, where Skye hits a hip attack.

Ruby tags back in, while Toni remains in the ring, holding a foreign object. Willow enters the ring, takes the object from Toni, and tosses it aside before executing a Fireman's Carry suplex. Skye then hits the Code Red for the pinfall victory.

Ricky Starks then announces that he will be participating in the Owen Hart Tournament. Following Starks' statement, a video featuring Jeff Jarrett plays, in which he declares his intention to go after Mark Briscoe.

Tony Schiavone steps into the ring to interview The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. Billy expresses that they are still determined to pursue the Trio Title. Anthony Bowens adds that AEW stands for Acclaimed Every Wednesday and Acclaimed Every Weekend. They perform a scissor motion in the middle of the ring, and I never imagined I could describe it in a PG way.

The Acclaimed receive an enormous response from the crowd, but they would be wise to engage in a feud soon, as that level of adoration may begin to wane.

Jim Ross joins the commentary, and his voice sounds raspy.

The match begins with White and Dax, and they go to the corner where a clean break occurs. They lock up and then run the ropes, with Dax executing a shoulder tackle. They continue running the ropes, and Dax manages to roll up White for a two-count. Jay retaliates with chops in the corner, but Dax reverses and delivers his own chops. They run the ropes again, and Dax executes a powerful back drop. Dax whips Jay into the corner, but Jay counters with a boot. However, Dax catches it and follows up with a clothesline when Jay emerges from the corner. Dax attempts a Boston crab, but Jay rolls to the outside to regroup.

Juice is tagged in, and he lands a series of blows on Dax. However, Dax fights his way out and chops Juice, leading to the tag team siren blaring and all participants entering the ring for a brief moment. The focus shifts back to Cash working over Juice in the corner, and Cash manages to get a backslide pin for a two-count. Juice responds with a body slam and performs a nose blow on Cash's back. They run the ropes, and Cash executes a gorilla press before tagging in Dax.

Dax tags in Punk, and together, they position Juice for Dax to slam him from the top rope, allowing Punk to cover for a two-count. Punk signals for the GTS, but Juice escapes and makes his way to his corner. The crowd erupts as Samoa Joe is tagged in.

Joe locks up with Punk and drives him into the corner, breaking with chops. Punk retaliates by escaping the corner and landing a chop of his own, followed by a bulldog on Joe. Punk maintains a side headlock as the action transitions to a picture-in-picture view.

Upon returning to full screen, Juice is in the ring with Dax, who kicks out of a pin attempt. Juice executes a snap mare and attempts to prevent Dax from reaching his corner, but Dax gets knocked down. Joe is tagged in and proceeds to pummel Dax in the corner. Joe pulls Dax towards his corner and tags in Jay, who joins his team in keeping Dax trapped in their corner with quick tags. Dax manages to counter with a float-over and a German Suplex, eventually making the hot tag to Cash. Cash takes control and targets Juice, concluding his assault with a roll-up pin for a two-count.

Cash lays in ten blows in the corner, catches Juice's attempt to leap over, and follows up with a suplex for a two-count. Punk tags in and hits a flying elbow drop while Cash holds Juice. Punk covers for two, then executes a backbreaker before tagging in Cash. The action once again transitions to a picture-in-picture view.

When the action returns to full screen, Jay has Cash's leg trapped in a single leg crab, and Cash manages to reach the ropes for a rope break. Juice is tagged in and slams Cash before performing a senton for a two-count. Juice grabs a body lock to prevent Cash from tagging out. Juice executes a back body drop and covers Cash for another near fall. Juice whips Cash into the corner and tags in Joe. Joe continues to punish Cash in the corners, covering him for a two-count that is broken up by Punk.

Jay is tagged back in and resumes working over Cash in the corner. Jay executes a chop block and tags in Juice. Cash manages to land on his feet when Juice attempts a back suplex, and he grabs Juice by the waist to execute a German suplex. Both men struggle to reach their corners, and Juice successfully tags in Jay, who grabs Cash's foot to prevent the tag. Cash finally makes the tag with a leap, and Punk takes charge, cleaning house on Jay and Juice.

Punk intensely stares at Joe as he launches a counterattack, but Joe retaliates with strikes. Jay delivers a surprise strike from the blindside, and FTR forces Jay out of the ring. Punk lands a rising knee strike in the corner, and Joe applies the rear-naked choke. FTR and Bullet Club Gold engage in a brawl to prevent FTR from breaking up the submission hold, but Cash manages to DDT Juice on the floor and spear Jay to free Dax, allowing him to break up the chokehold.

Juice is tagged back in, and Punk connects with a high kick. FTR executes the shatter effect, and Punk follows up with the GTS for the pinfall victory.
