AEW Collision Results September 2, 2023: Highlights, Commentary, Live Update, Winners

Chicago, September 2, 2023 - Here is the live coverage for this week's edition of AEW Collision which is set to take place on September 2, 2023, live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

AEW Collision starts at 8 PM ET. This is 5 PM PT, 1 AM BST, and 8 AM AEST. The show will run for two hours, so it will end at 10 PM ET.

On the September 2, 2023, episode of AEW Collision, we're in for The Acclaimed's first defense of the Trios Titles, along with other matches and segments leading up to the All Out 2023 PPV. The Trios Titles will be on the line as The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn go up against Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard.

In another trios match, The Outcasts will take on Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Kris Statlander. Additionally, Jay White is set to face Dax Harwood in a match. To add to the excitement, Ricky Starks is challenging Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat to a strap match.

AEW Collision Results September 2, 2023:

AEW Collision started with Tony Khan talking honestly about the CM Punk situation. He mentioned that the confrontation posed risks to people, including the production team and himself. Following advice from legal advisors and an AEW discipline committee, he decided to let go of CM Punk. Dave's take on this can be heard on Wrestling Observer Radio and is highly recommended.
Ricky Starks/Ricky Steamboat segment

Tony Schiavone kicked off the entertainment part of the show by bringing Ricky Starks into the ring. Starks entered with a hefty weight belt, and he was joined by Big Bill.

Schiavone questioned Starks about his challenge to Ricky Steamboat, a 70-year-old man, for a strap match, and asked if he was crazy. Starks responded that he was tired of starting over and was determined to rebuild. He expressed his pride in Big Bill and encouraged him to pursue his goals.

Starks then connected this to his issue with Steamboat, mentioning that he was suspended for 28 days and missed All In because of it. He wanted an answer from Steamboat. Steamboat's classic WCW theme played, and he appeared with a clipboard. Steamboat stated that he never complained about losing to Starks on social media but had heard about Starks wanting this match through the same platform.

Steamboat explained that he had a contract with both their names, indicating a match between Ricky Starks and "The Dragon." However, it seemed that Bryan Danielson might be the Dragon in question instead of Ricky Steamboat. Danielson made his way to the ring.

Babyface Bryan Danielson returned to save AEW All Out with Moxley, Orange Cassidy, and a few others. Fans chanted at Starks as he made a pledge, and it brought laughter. Bryan Danielson and Ricky Starks are set to have a strap match at AEW All Out tomorrow night. It was an exciting turn of events.

Jon Moxley delivered a promo about Orange Cassidy, acknowledging Cassidy's impressive run and calling him the real deal. Moxley highlighted the rarity of facing someone on such a run and emphasized the difference between real wrestlers and fake ones who seek an easy way out when things get tough. He expressed hope that Cassidy wouldn't back down. This promo was fantastic.

AEW Trios Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed (Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, & Billy Gunn) Vs 2point0 (Matt Menard & Angelo Parker) & Daniel Garcia to retain

Bowens began the match against Parker and swiftly sent him out of the ring. Parker made a quick tag to Garcia, who squared off with Billy Gunn. Garcia dodged a chop and started dancing in the middle of the ring, followed by a taunt to Billy Gunn. However, Gunn landed a punch that brought Garcia to his knees, and Gunn celebrated with some dance moves of his own.

Garcia gained the upper hand on Bowens after Jake Hager intervened by pulling Caster and Gunn away from the apron. Garcia then applied the Dragon Tamer submission hold on Bowens, with Parker and Menard holding Caster at bay. Gunn eventually managed to break up the submission, but not before Bowens suffered significant damage.

Bowens countered with an enziguri on Garcia and tagged Caster back in, who briefly had the advantage before facing Menard. During this exchange, Nigel McGuinness humorously remarked, "Where did he get that name, Daddy Magic?" Kevin Kelly suggested it might be from Jericho, to which McGuinness quipped, "I thought it was prison."

Caster then tagged Gunn back in, and Gunn went on a rampage, tagging Caster once more to finish the match with a flying elbow for the victory.

WINNER: AEW Trios Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed (Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, & Billy Gunn)

Backstage, The Dark Order had a chat with Lexy Nair. She asked them about their upcoming match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship against MJF and Adam Cole. John Silver grumbled about his buddy Budge teaming up with MJF, and Alex Renyolds mentioned that he had a hand in training MJF. He expressed pride in his student's success but also stated his intention to show MJF what it truly meant to be a champion.

Later, Ricky Starks crossed paths with Tony Schiavone backstage. Starks confidently declared that tomorrow night's challenge against Bryan Danielson wouldn't be any different from any other he had faced, and he was determined to come out on top.

Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) Vs Nick Wayne & Komander w/ Alex Abrahantes

Aussie Open swiftly focused their attention on Komander, keeping him in the ring and working him over for a few minutes. Komander managed to turn the tide by delivering a jawbreaker to Davis and skillfully flipping out of a back suplex. He also dodged a corner charge and made a tag to Wayne.

Wayne sprang into action, landing a superkick on Davis and executing an Asai DDT on Fletcher. He then took the fight to the outside, performing a tope con giro on Davis. Wayne continued his assault by hitting a frog splash on Fletcher, but it resulted in a close 2-count. Wayne signaled for his OsCutter move but was thwarted by Fletcher, who countered with a half-and-half suplex.

Davis tagged in and prepared to slam Wayne with a crucifix bomb, but Komander intervened with a superkick to Fletcher. Davis still managed to put Wayne down and caught Komander as he attempted a Code Breaker, powerbombing him in the process. Davis didn't stop there; he threw Komander back into the air and finished with a piledriver.

Regrettably for Wayne, he faced a barrage of forearms from both members of Aussie Open. Wayne attempted his OsCutter, also known as Wayne's World, on both Aussie Open members, but they caught him and executed a move called Coriolis, sealing their victory.

WINNER: Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis)

Tony Schiavone conducted an interview with Wayne after the match. Wayne expressed his frustration at the loss but couldn't help but think about how Darby Allin had forgiven AR Fox for their past issues. Darby then came to the ring and shared a story about Nick Wayne's presence during a fight between Darby and Buddy Wayne. This fight had led to a three-year estrangement between Darby and the Wayne family. Unfortunately, Buddy Wayne passed away during this time, and Darby had to live with that. Darby emphasized the importance of forgiveness because you never know how much time is left. He then asked Wayne to be in his corner on Sunday.

Christian made his entrance and teased jokingly about reaching out to Nick Wayne's mother. He suggested that Nick Wayne was just a personal project for Darby Allin and pointed out that he was not the TNT Champion. Christian warned that on Sunday, Nick Wayne should be prepared to throw in the towel because Allin would need it. It was a solid promo from Christian.

Claudio Castagnoli had a backstage segment with Wheeler Yuta, congratulating Kingston on defeating Yuta and downplaying its significance by mentioning how the BCC beat up Yuta regularly. Castagnoli punctuated each line with a European uppercut and discussed his plans to beat Kingston with Yuta at the PPV.

Eddie Kingston, accompanied by Katsuyori Shibata, responded by mocking Castagnoli for beating up Yuta and Yuta for taking it. He claimed that Castagnoli couldn't look at him because he was afraid. Kingston asked Shibata for his opinion, and Shibata used Google Translate on his phone to show a message that read, "You both suck!" Kingston had a good laugh. These were two great promos.

Lexy Nair interviewed Saraya & Ruby Soho, with Soho reminiscing about her AEW Women's World Championship win and confidently stating her intention to capture the TBS Championship at AEW All Out. Nair inquired about Toni Storm, and Soho assured her that Storm was fine, despite being half-naked in the parking lot throwing her shoes at birds. Soho reiterated that everything was fine within the Outcasts and promised to demonstrate it in their trios match later in the night.

Tony Schiavone introduced Dennis Rodman, who made his way to the ring. Before Rodman could speak, Jeff Jarrett and his crew interrupted and joined him in the ring. Jarrett expressed his pleasure at seeing Rodman, reminiscing about their time in WCW together and claiming to be the leader of the NWO. He presented Rodman with a proposition, but Rodman initially brushed it off.

However, Rodman eventually agreed and suggested he could take on Satnam Singh. Sonjay Dutt, displaying a new shirt with Rodman's face on it, approached Rodman, who shoved Dutt. Jarrett, Lethal, and Singh attempted to attack Rodman, but The Acclaimed rushed in to make the save. The Acclaimed then challenged Jarrett, Lethal, and Singh to a trios title match the following night.

A video package highlighted Shane Taylor, concluding with him vowing to reclaim his title as he executed the Greetings from Asbury Park on Keith Lee.

Samoa Joe delivered a fiery promo, stating that he would give Shane Taylor a reality check at AEW All Out. Joe mentioned that Taylor might hope for the performance of a lifetime but would ultimately regret crossing paths with him. Joe asserted that Taylor might want to knock him out, but Joe would make an example of him and ensure he regretted uttering his name. It was an awesome promo.

Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander Vs The Outcasts (Saraya, Ruby Soho, & Toni Storm)

Toni Storm kicked off the match against Statlander, and they traded shoulder tackles. Statlander displayed more power, while Storm showed greater speed. However, Storm's quickness didn't prove beneficial when she ran into a body slam. Storm resorted to pulling Statlander's hair and attempted a hip attack in the corner. Unfortunately, she wasted too much time, allowing Statlander to recover and counter with a dropkick before tagging in Baker.

Baker executed a sling blade and tagged in Shida, who delivered a powerful forearm to Soho. Baker held Saraya's arms back while Shida aimed for a forearm, but Saraya dodged, nearly causing Shida to hit Baker. This created an opportunity for Saraya and Soho to double-team Shida behind the referee's back. Storm tagged in and delivered a brutal hip attack to Shida in the corner.

Saraya took advantage of the distracted referee to slam Shida into the announce table, and Soho brought her back into the ring. Shida eventually fought back, landing an enziguri on Storm and making the tag to Statlander, who unleashed her power against both Saraya and Soho. Statlander executed a blue thunder bomb on Saraya, but Soho broke up the pin attempt.

In the closing moments, all six women exchanged moves. Saraya superkicked Baker, but Statlander responded with a powerslam. Storm tried to break up the pin but inadvertently landed on Saraya. Saraya tagged out to Baker, who hit a fisherman's neckbreaker on Soho. However, Baker fell victim to spray paint in the face from Saraya, allowing Soho to secure the victory with No Future.

WINNER: Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander
Powerhouse Hobbs Vs GPA

This match was incredibly quick. Hobbs dominated and finished it with a spinebuster. The match ended so swiftly that his music started playing just seconds after it concluded.

WINNER: Powerhouse Hobbs

Miro's music played, and he entered the ring in his wrestling attire, immediately engaging in a brawl with Hobbs. The fight spilled out to ringside, where Hobbs tossed Miro into the ring steps, while Miro retaliated by sending Hobbs over the railing into the crowd. After this brief but intense altercation, Hobbs slowly backed away, receiving cheers from the crowd for the intense encounter.

Following a rundown of the AEW All Out card, an incredible hype video played, featuring Konosuke Takeshita and Kenny Omega, set to the tune of "God's Gonna Cut You Down." It was a truly fantastic video.

Backstage, Orange Cassidy was seated and expressed his reluctance to speak at the moment. However, he felt compelled to talk about his upcoming title match, unlike anything he had experienced before. He reflected on his previous matches against PAC and Will Ospreay, demonstrating that he belonged in AEW. Now, he faced Jon Moxley, the very man who carried AEW on his shoulders during challenging times. Cassidy vowed to relieve Moxley of that burden and carry it himself as the AEW International Champion. It was an awesome promo.

Jay White (w/ Juice Robinson, Austin & Colten Gunn) Vs Dax Harwood (w/ Cash Wheeler)

Harwood and White kicked things off with some classic wrestling moves, even adding a humorous moment where Harwood got the crowd to cheer for him while he had White in an abdominal stretch. White gained the upper hand by executing a headlock suplex into the corner. As the Gunns and Robinson tried to interfere, Wheeler rushed in with a chair, scaring them away.

The referee scolded Robinson, who retorted with, "He has a chair, you idiot!" It was a fair point since the referee didn't see anything beyond the chair in play. White later hit a DDT on Harwood for a two-count. Harwood responded with a superplex shortly after but missed a diving headbutt. During a break in the action, JR, Nigel, and Kelly discussed the hardest chops they had ever seen, giving a shout-out to Wahoo McDaniel.

Harwood attempted a slingshot suplex, but White countered by necking him on the ropes to escape. White returned to the ring but was met with a German suplex from Harwood, who followed up with a brainbuster for another two-count. Harwood dished out a punishing chop to White on the floor, and then went for another diving DDT, but White managed to get to the apron. Harwood's chop was so forceful that it sent White back into the ring over the ropes.

White retaliated with a dragon screw on the ropes as Harwood tried to re-enter. White then executed a backdrop driver and a Death Valley Driver for a two-count. A clothesline from White was answered with a hard-hitting one from Harwood that left White on his head. Harwood cleverly dodged some punches, feigned an attack, and hit a piledriver for a two-count.

White sent Harwood crashing into the metal post between the ropes, followed by a uranage for another two-count. White attempted the Blade Runner, but Harwood blocked it by grabbing the ropes. White countered with a slingshot powerbomb as he shouted "No!"

Harwood locked in a sharpshooter on White, who eventually reached the ropes. The other members of Bullet Club Gold pulled White out of the ring, and as Harwood confronted them, White made a recovery and executed a Blade Runner on the floor. Harwood managed to cradle White when they returned to the ring, but White kicked out and swiftly countered with a Blade Runner for the pinfall victory.

WINNER: Jay White (w/ Juice Robinson, Austin & Colten Gunn)

It appears we might witness another showdown between Juice Robinson and Jay White, possibly at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

After the match, the Bullet Club attacked Wheeler and began assaulting FTR. In a dire situation, the Young Bucks rushed in to rescue FTR. Following the intervention, the Bucks extended a handshake to FTR, but FTR declined. Some fans in a small section started chanting "CM Punk," although their voices were mostly drowned out by the rest of the crowd.

AEW Collision Announces New Ring Announcer After Dasha Gonzalez Release

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has seemingly found a replacement for Dasha Gonzalez, the former ring announcer for their secondary show, AEW Collision. Gonzalez was one of several talents released by the company on April 1st. ## While not a wrestler herself, Gonzalez held a prominent role on AEW Collision as its regular ring announcer. Her absence from the role necessitated a quick solution. ## AEW taped the next episode of Collision following Dynamite on Wednesday night, and stepping into the ring announcer duties was ROH's Bobby Cruise. This suggests Cruise may be the new permanent announcer for the show moving forward. ## This particular episode of Collision will air on Saturday, April 6th at 11:30 pm ET. That means WrestleMania will likely have concluded before Collision even begins.## Despite the change in announcers, Collision promises an action-packed episode. The card features a main event tag team match pitting Chris Jericho and HOOK against Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty. Additionally, a crucial tournament semi-final match will see Top Flight battle FTR to determine who will face the Young Bucks for the vacant AEW World Tag Team Championship at the upcoming AEW Dynasty event. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

They slapped each other back and forth, trading blows.## Finally, they stood up and kept slapping. Danielson landed two kicks, the last one catching Shibata off guard. Shibata blocked Danielson's big knee and put him in a hold, but Danielson got his foot on the ropes to break it. They scrambled for a pin, and Danielson managed to roll Shibata up for the win. ## WINNER: Bryan Danielson ## Julia Hart vs. Trish Adora ## Julia Hart entered the ring first, with a lot riding on the match. The Open House rule was brutal - whoever lost wouldn't be allowed to be with their teammate in the upcoming tag match.## Adora came out swinging and took Hart down to the mat right away. She locked Hart's arms behind her back and tried to pin her with her legs, but only got a two count. Adora wouldn't let up, cranking on another submission move. Hart knew she had to escape and scrambled to the ropes, forcing Adora to follow.## Outside the ring, things got nasty. Hart shoved Adora back first into the steel steps, then slammed her head down on them! Not done there, Hart threw Adora like a ragdoll into the ring barricade.## After a short break, the fight continued. Hart seemed to have the upper hand, but Adora wouldn't give up. She grabbed Hart's wrist and blasted her with a few punches. Adora tried to trap Hart in the corner, but Hart was too quick and slipped out. She came back with a running clothesline that knocked the wind out of Adora.## Hart went for a special move, her signature Hartless submission, but Adora was crafty. She reversed it and almost pinned Hart! Adora wasn't finished. She tried a risky move, a jumping attack from the corner, but Hart saw it coming and dodged.## Hart rolled Adora up for a quick pin. With a flurry of kicks to keep Adora down, Hart climbed to the top turnbuckle and launched herself into a moonsault for the win. ## WINNER: Julia Hart ## Daniel Garcia vs. Lee Moriarty ## Moriarty wasted no time, throwing a kick at Garcia and then tying him up in an arm hold. They went back and forth with quick moves, neither one gaining a clear advantage. Moriarty ended up on the ground, and Garcia took the opportunity to taunt him with a little dance. Not cool, Garcia!## Garcia followed up with a kick and then a running dropkick that sent Moriarty flying out of the ring. But Garcia got cocky again, focusing on Taylor outside and letting his guard down. Moriarty capitalized with a daring dive over the top rope, taking Garcia down hard.## Back inside the ring, Moriarty landed a dropkick and held Garcia in a precarious position over the ropes. While the ref wasn't looking, Taylor snuck in a cheap shot, punching Garcia in the face. Moriarty tried to pin Garcia, focusing on his arm for extra pain. Garcia fought out of it though, landing punches to Moriarty's gut until he had to let go.## In the corner, Garcia went on the offensive, pummeling Moriarty with punches. They traded some hard slaps, and then Garcia slammed Moriarty with a suplex. But Moriarty wasn't done yet. He kicked Garcia right in the back of the head, but his injured knee wouldn't let him follow through properly. He went for a high-flying move, but Garcia outsmarted him and locked him in a painful submission hold, the heel hook. The pain was too much for Moriarty, and he had to tap out, giving Garcia the win. ## WINNER: Daniel Garcia ## Singles Match: PAC vs. Aaron Solow ## PAC's first opponent was supposed to be Komander, but he got hurt wrestling Konosuke Takeshita on "Rampage."## The match started with PAC forcing Solow against the ropes. Solow kicked back, then jumped over the top rope trying to escape. He went for a quick pin, but PAC wasn't done. He shoved Solow into the corner and gave him a kick to the face. PAC wasn't letting up - he jammed Solow's head into the turnbuckle with his foot.## PAC kept kicking Solow, this time hitting him on the side of the head. He stomped on Solow's face for good measure, then kicked him in the stomach a bunch of times. To finish him off, PAC climbed to the top turnbuckle and leaped down with a flying kick. He followed up with a punch to Solow's face while he was cornered. Finally, PAC hit his special move, the Black Arrow, and Solow was out cold. ## WINNER: PAC ## Claudio Castagnoli vs. Lance Archer ## Archer shoved Castagnoli's face hard. Castagnoli shoved back, and they started grappling. They slammed their shoulders into each other repeatedly. Archer kicked Castagnoli and then lifted him high before slamming him down. Castagnoli did the same to Archer. They punched each other back and forth. They even started kicking each other like kids. Castagnoli landed a strong punch to Archer's chin. Archer responded with a sharp elbow jab. They kept trading blows. ## Castagnoli hit Archer with a powerful uppercut. Archer tried to trip him, but Castagnoli ended up throwing Archer over the top rope and out of the ring. Castagnoli ran around the ring to avoid Archer, but Archer grabbed him before he could get away. Archer jumped off the ring apron onto Castagnoli with a big splash. ## After a short break, Castagnoli landed another strong uppercut. Archer picked him up and slammed him hard onto the mat. Archer hit Castagnoli hard on the shoulder. Castagnoli fought back with a move that flipped Archer upside down. In the corner, they continued to punch each other. Archer hit a clothesline, but Castagnoli dodged his next move and landed another uppercut. He followed with a double jump stomp on Archer's chest. Castagnoli ran outside the ring and hit Archer with another uppercut. He climbed to the top turnbuckle, but Archer stopped him with a knee strike and then slammed him down with a powerful move. ## Archer trapped Castagnoli in the corner and tried to put him away with his finishing move, but Castagnoli reversed it into another powerful move. He punched Archer repeatedly in the corner and then hit him with a jumping cutter. Castagnoli tried to slam Archer, but Archer blocked it. Castagnoli came back with a spinning uppercut. He lifted Archer for his signature move, but a group of wrestlers called "The Righteous" interfered. The referee called for the bell to end the match, and another wrestler, Danielson, jumped in to help Castagnoli. Another wrestler, Shibata, entered the ring with a chair. ## WINNER: Claudio Castagnoli via DQ ## Kyle O'Reilly vs. Bryan Keith ## O'Reilly and Keith clashed in a tense bout, trading holds and strikes. O'Reilly's technical prowess clashed with Keith's power. After a series of back-and-forth exchanges, O'Reilly locked in the ARMageddon submission for the win. The Undisputed Kingdom celebrated O'Reilly's victory in the ring. ## WINNER: Kyle O'Reilly ## House of Black vs. The Infantry ## HOB waited impatiently in the ring for the bell. Once it rang, King wasted no time, slamming Bravo into the corner and hitting him with a powerful clothesline. Matthews joined the party with a flying kick to Dean from the ring apron. King basically played with Bravo, toying with him before dishing out more punishment.## During a commercial break, things weren't looking good for The Infantry. HOB continued to dominate. After the break, things shifted a bit. Dean surprised everyone with a quick roll-up on Matthews. Bravo followed up by keeping the pressure on Matthews. King tagged in to try and stop the momentum. Dean managed to land a few punches on him in the corner.## For a while, it seemed like The Infantry might actually have a chance. But HOB wasn't done yet. King went for a brutal move called Dante's Inferno on Dean, but Bravo broke up the pin at the last second. HOB recovered and went back on the attack, leaving both Infantry members flat on their backs.## Matthews tried to throw Bravo out of the ring, but Bravo outsmarted him and held onto the ropes. King tried to jump over the ropes to attack Bravo, but Bravo yanked them down, sending King crashing onto the announcer's table (which somehow didn't break!). King wasn't finished though, he hit a piledriver on Bravo right on the table!## Back in the ring, Matthews went for his finishing move, the curb stomp, on Dean. But instead of pinning him right away, he arrogantly pulled Dean up. This gave Dean a chance. As Matthews climbed to the top rope for another move, Mark Briscoe (not in the match) threw a chair at him, knocking him down. King went after Briscoe, chasing him out of the ring.## Dean, seeing his opportunity, rolled over Murphy (the referee) and got the pin! The crowd erupted as The Infantry pulled off a huge upset.## Malakai Black, the leader of HOB, stormed to the ring and stared down Briscoe, who was watching from the crowd. Looks like there might be more trouble brewing between them. ## WINNER: The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) ## Copeland entered the ring carrying the same box from the other night, plus a chair. He grabbed the mic and yelled, "Christian, listen up! Jay is gone."## Copeland claimed he wasn't trying to steal Christian's moment. He earned a title shot fair and square with his "Cope Open" win. But the jerks (Patriarchy) took him out with a nasty chair shot to both heads.## Then, Mick Foley called him up and reminded Copeland of who he really is. So, Copeland made himself a weapon - a piece of wood with black nails painted on it, kind of beat up. He called it "Spike."## Copeland promised to make Christian yell "I quit" with this weapon.## "It all started in our hometown 40 years ago," Copeland said, "and after all this time, it ends tonight!" ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

He acknowledged both Taylor and Danielson for their impressive performance. He expressed gratitude to Danielson for his contributions to the sport. Referencing Danielson's appearance during his debut on Wednesday, Ospreay inquired if Danielson had a question.## Danielson welcomed Ospreay to AEW and praised his match with Konosuke Takeshita. Danielson offered Ospreay an opportunity to showcase his skills by challenging him to a match at "Dynasty". Ospreay enthusiastically accepted the challenge. ## Okada debuted at "Collision" alongside his new allies, the Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). The Young Bucks sported new entrance robes, while Okada maintained his own distinct entrance. All three executed the signature Codyvator maneuver. Their opponents, Jon Cruz and The Skulk (Adrian Alanis and Liam Gray), awaited them in the ring.## Cruz began the match against Matthew, but quickly tagged in Okada. Okada swiftly dominated Cruz.## Alanis landed a few punches before Okada countered with a powerful missile dropkick. Okada then launched Alanis into the turnbuckle. The match concluded with Okada defeating Gray with his signature Ripcord Rainmaker.## Post-match, Eddie Kingston entered the ring, only to be assaulted by The Elite. Penta El Zero M attempted to intervene but was similarly overpowered. As Okada held one of Kingston's championship belts, PAC made his highly anticipated return to AEW. PAC and Okada exchanged blows, with PAC executing a German release suplex. The Young Bucks intervened, dragging Okada out of the ring by his legs.## Kingston challenged The Elite to a match against his team, "Big Business." ## Singles Match: Mariah May vs. Trish Adora ## May grapples with Adora at the match start. May gains the upper hand with a takedown, but Adora quickly counters with a leg lock. Adora maintains control, slamming May twice. Frustrated, May retaliates with a slap and executes a headscissors reversal. She capitalizes with a powerful shotgun dropkick.## Following the commercial break, Adora regains momentum, driving May down with a double axe handle strike. She attempts a pinfall with a senton splash but only manages a two-count. May desperately grabs Adora's hair to regain control. She attempts a running kick, but Adora counters with a swift suplex. Unfazed, May headbutts Adora and delivers a running knee strike. May then executes her finishing maneuver, the "May Day," to secure the victory. ## WINNER: Mariah May ## Storm presented the "Toni Award" after the match, recognizing outstanding achievement. May won the award for Best Performance. The unorthodox prize? A shoe. As Storm exited down the ramp, Deonna Purrazzo launched a surprise attack. May retaliated with a DDT delivered on the ramp to overpower Purrazzo. ## Singles Match: Nick Wayne vs. Adam Priest ## Wayne wasted no time initiating the offense, taking Priest down to the mat. He continued the assault with a shoulder tackle and a head scissors takedown, leaving Priest reeling. Priest retaliated with a stiff European uppercut and a punishing knife edge chop. ## The action spilled outside the ring where Wayne landed a running boot on Priest. Priest responded with a flurry of chops. Back in the ring, Priest's focus shifted towards Killswitch, creating an opening. Wayne capitalized by knocking Priest off the apron. He followed up with a fisherman's hook, sending Priest tumbling over the ropes. Seizing the opportunity, Wayne unleashed a step-up enzuiguri followed by his finishing maneuver, "Wayne's World," to secure the victory. ## WINNER: Nick Wayne ## A masked wrestler from CMLL attacked Christian, throwing him over the barricade! He then brawled into the crowd, taking out Wayne and Killswitch. Unmasking himself to be Adam Copeland, he entered the ring, grabbed the TNT Championship and revealed a box. The surrounding members of The Patriarchy were confronted by Copeland showing something in the box to Cage, who promptly exited the ring. ## Singles Match: Chris Jericho vs. Titán ## Jericho entered the ring to his classic "Lionheart" theme. Titán, the reigning CMLL Welterweight Champion, challenged Jericho with his agility.## Jericho initiated with a sidelock takedown, but Titán countered with his own takedowns. He followed up with a tope suicida dive to the outside.## The fight spilled outside the ring where Jericho took a nasty fall, slamming his shoulder into the steel steps. Back in the ring, they exchanged blows on the ropes until Jericho countered with a powerful avalanche bulldog from the top rope.## After the break, Titán remained on the offensive, connecting with a pele kick and a tope con hilo attack that took Jericho outside the ring. Jericho responded with a backbreaker and a brutal Death Valley Driver. Undeterred, Titán countered with a spinning heel kick, but Jericho answered with a punch. Titán continued to fight back, hitting a spectacular spinning tornado DDT.## He climbed to the top turnbuckle and delivered a double stomp for a near-fall. Titán then applied a punishing Indian death lock, but Jericho displayed his experience by reversing it and attempting his signature Lion Tamer submission. He secured the hold, but Titán escaped. Jericho missed his finishing maneuver, the Judas Effect, leaving himself vulnerable. Titán capitalized with a spinning Death Valley Driver and a flurry of strikes.## He ascended the top rope again, attempting a hurricanrana, but Jericho displayed veteran cunning by reversing it into a successful Lion Tamer to secure the victory. ## WINNER: Chris Jericho ## In a post-match brawl, Gates of Agony targeted Jericho for interfering in their business on Dynamite. Hook intervened, wielding a kendo stick, and successfully drove them away. ## Tony Schiavone announced the commencement of the AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament next Saturday on Collision. He then introduced FTR to the ring. ## Cash Wheeler acknowledged their upcoming ten-year anniversary as a team, reflecting on past setbacks they overcame. He assured fans they would bounce back again despite their recent loss at Revolution. ## Dax Harwood addressed their impressive career and Collision's legacy of great tag team wrestling. However, he questioned FTR's place in the tournament given their recent struggles. He vowed to give their all if they participate, aiming to become the first three-time AEW tag team champions. ## The Infantry's unexpected appearance raised questions about whether it was an AEW event. Captain Shawn Dean boasted about their dynamism and good looks, claiming to be the best tag team in wrestling. Carlie Bravo explained their near-lateness due to a sale at Magic City, before offering well wishes to FTR. They extended handshakes but expressed their desire to "Revivalize" the tag team tournament. Harwood shut down the "Revival" reference, threatening The Infantry with defeat if they met in the tournament. ## Mistico vs Angelico (w/ Serpentico) ## Mistico dominated the early portion of the match with a series of arm drags and a dazzling handspring elbow before the commercial break. Upon returning, he continued his offensive flurry with a headscissors takedown, a signature 619 kick, and a high-impact springboard dropkick. Mistico then showcased his aerial prowess with a diving attack onto Serpentico and a perfectly executed headscissors on Angelico outside the ring. He maintained momentum by launching himself back into the ring with a tornillo maneuver and a top-rope senton that nearly secured the win. ## Angelico displayed resilience by narrowly avoiding Mistico's moonsault attempt and countering a La Magistral cradle with his own for a near-fall. They then engaged in a thrilling exchange of kicks before Mistico delivered a spectacular springboard crossbody. He capped off the impressive performance with his signature La Mistica submission maneuver to secure a decisive victory. Sportsmanship prevailed as all wrestlers shook hands after the match, with Angelico and Serpentico even raising Mistico's hand in a gesture of respect. ## WINNER: Mistico ## Atlanta Street Fight: House Of Black (Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black) vs Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett & Mark Briscoe ## Clad in black and red, The House of Black confronted Briscoe's camouflage-clad war party. The opening brawl spilled outside to Pier Six, where a major announcement was made: Hook & Chris Jericho would face Gates of Agony on Wednesday's "Big Business."## Absolute mayhem erupted as the fight raged everywhere, with weapons brought into play. King attempted a crossbody onto Lethal near the barricade, but Lethal evaded the attack. Lethal and Jarrett teamed up to put King through a table, but Black thwarted their plan by knocking down Jarrett. King capitalized, driving Lethal through the table with a crossbody into the barricade.## The action continued onto the top turnbuckle where Briscoe and Matthews grappled near a table. However, King intervened, sending Briscoe crashing over the top rope and onto a pile of chairs below.## After the commercial break, The House isolated Jarrett as Matthews produced lighter fluid. Their plan involved setting a table ablaze, but Sanjay Dutt attempted to disrupt them with a guitar. The attempt failed, prompting Julia Hart to counter with a gasoline can. Matthews doused Dutt with gasoline, but Karen Jarrett intervened with a low blow, allowing Dutt to send Matthews crashing through some stage-side tables. Hart retaliated by misting Karen, effectively removing her from the equation.## Back in the ring, Jarrett and Lethal overwhelmed King with a double-team maneuver. King fought back, hammering Lethal on the apron before choking him out. Jarrett countered with a guitar shot to King, then tipped him through a table with a maneuver off the apron. However, as Jarrett turned around, he fell victim to Black Mass from Black.## Hart presented Black with a railroad spike, but Briscoe intervened with a Jay Driller. Briscoe attempted a diving attack onto Black, but Matthews intervened, assisting Black in catching Briscoe and dumping him on the apron. Hart ignited the table on fire, and Matthews & Black combined for a powerbomb that drove Briscoe through the inferno. Black then rolled Briscoe back into the ring and secured the pinfall victory in this chaotic main event. ## WINNER: House Of Black (Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black) ## Keep refreshing the page! ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

The brawl spills outside, chairs and a table join the chaos. Briscoe dropkicks Matthews, then dives over the top rope with a chair-assisted attack. ## Briscoe throws Matthews back in the ring, brandishing the spike Black used. King and Black join the fray, but Briscoe unleashes a flurry of chair strikes. As he aims the spike at Black's head, a resurgent Matthews nails him with a powerful kick.## Matthews drags Briscoe up the ramp, but Briscoe counters with a backdrop and delivers a crossbody from the ramp to the floor. Briscoe grabs a pyro control device, threatening Matthews. Security intervenes, pulling the device away and tackling Briscoe as the House of Black flees.## Undeterred, Briscoe reclaims the device and sets off the pyro repeatedly, a fiery warning to his escaping adversaries.## A backstage promo shows Swerve Strickland, addressing the events of "Dynamite." Admitting his lapse in vigilance, he vows never to underestimate "Hangman" Adam Page again. Page won't surprise him at Revolution, and Strickland declares his intent to become the first African-American AEW World Champion.## Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Bryan Keith vs. Dante Martin ## The bell tolls, met with chants of "Cero Miedo!" Penta taunts Martin, then theatrically removes his glove to do the same to Keith. But before he can, Keith headbutts him. Martin drops Keith with a superkick, then Penta charges back but gets hit by a double superkick. Penta retreats outside, leaving Martin and Keith to engage in a high-flying exchange.## Penta re-enters, delivering kicks to Martin followed by a backstabber. He rebounds off the ropes, but Keith counters with a kick and exploder suplex. Penta stumbles for the ropes, but Keith drags him back. Martin rolls up Keith for two. After further exchanges, Keith hits a butterfly powerbomb for another near fall. He charges at Penta on the apron, but Penta drags him out too. They trade brutal chops. Keith attempts a fireman's carry, but Penta escapes. Penta executes a Fear Factor on Keith, on the apron! Martin intervenes with a Destroyer on Penta, also on the apron. ## Martin ascends the top turnbuckle and delivers a decisive splash on Keith for the victory. ## WINNER: Dante Martin ## Mariah May vs. Angelica Risk ## May opens the match with gut kicks, driving Risk into the corner. She taunts with a lick of her hands and a double-handed chest slap. May traps Risk in the ropes, stretching her, then delivers a dropkick after breaking free. An Irish Whip followed by a spinning sidewalk slam with multiple rotations further May's dominance. She blows a kiss to the commentator, Nigel, who reacts dramatically. May then grinds her boot against Risk's throat and delivers a shotgun dropkick in the center of the ring.## Risk briefly rallies with a few strikes, but May quickly overpowers her with a powerful kick to the face. A fireman's carry into her finisher, the Mayday, secures the victory for May. ## WINNER: Mariah May ## Storm enters, met with May's enthusiasm. Storm dismisses May's hug attempt, grabs a microphone, and demands Purrazzo join her in the ring, ignoring May entirely. Purrazzo enters. Storm claims their fight has gone too far. She questions if this is all their training and sacrifices were for, asking if it's worth destroying their friendship for a single match. Storm admits to loving Deonna, her talent, and her drive, but declares only one can be champion, and it will never be Purrazzo while she's alive.## Purrazzo reciprocates Storm's love, claiming Storm's arrogance will cost her the championship. She accuses Storm of forgetting Deonna can be both her best friend and her worst enemy. Purrazzo warns Storm to prepare for a brutal match, as she intends to break both of her arms. Storm accepts the challenge, bidding farewell to her "old friend" with a kiss on the cheek. Purrazzo attacks, but May intervenes, turning the tables. Storm exits the ring, leaving May to face Purrazzo, who drops May and gestures towards Storm's title. ## Austin Gunn and The Acclaimed vs. The Dark Order ## As the Scissor Gang enters, Caster attempts his rap, but White hugs him, cutting him off. Caster appears disgruntled. Dark Order enters, and the match begins.## Gunn grapples Reynolds, exchanging headlocks and Irish Whips, with Gunn gaining the upper hand. He tags Caster, and they execute a double hip toss. Reynolds counters, driving Caster into the corner where Dark Order attacks him. Uno enters, but Caster fights back, bodyslamming Uno before tagging Bowens who tags Gunn. Bowens delivers a flying Scissor Me Timbers. As they prepare to celebrate, Silver disrupts, and Dark Order unleashes a flurry of offense, with Uno dominating Gunn as we go to commercial.## Returning, Gunn catches an Uno kick, tossing it to the referee who allows Gunn to hit a neckbreaker. Caster takes out Uno, but Silver counters with a suicide dive on Caster. Silver taunts White while Gunn narrowly escapes a roll-up. Silver and Reynolds team up on Bowens, but Bowens fights back, dropping Silver. Caster connects with the Mic Drop for the victory. ## WINNER: Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Austin Gunn ## Statlander and Nightingale discuss their upcoming match at Zero Hour. Hathaway apologizes for a past incident, but Nightingale emphasizes their focus on winning, not friendship.## Schiavone interviews Wardlow, who boasts about past victories and plans to dominate his Revolution opponents. He targets Page, Swerve, and Joe, highlighting his desire to dethrone Joe specifically. Wardlow claims the title and victory will solidify his dominance.## Jericho interrupts, reminding Wardlow of the All-Star Scramble's format and his own legendary status. He criticizes Wardlow's lack of achievements and reminds him of the long time since Jericho's last title shot. Jericho questions Wardlow's worth and provokes the crowd to chant "Mike."## Wardlow admits to recent failures and personal struggles but emphasizes his self-reflection and determination. He declares his return as "Wardlow, the biggest and the baddest," ready to challenge anyone, regardless of their accolades. He welcomes Jericho to prove him wrong.## Hobbs suddenly attacks and beats down Jericho, earning cheers from the crowd. ## Deeb claims her undefeated and unchallenged status in an interview.
