County Boy Vidyut Jammwal Sponsors An Assamese Film Created By Aspirants

Mumbai, May 14 - A country boy through and through, Vidyut Jammwal is the man of the people, who has been encouraging talent not only through his production house Action Hero Films but also by supporting regional cinema.



The large-hearted actor has this time sponsored an upcoming action Assamese film Local Utpaat releasing today. Jammwal extended financial support to the film.



Director Kenny Basumatary says, "I am thankful to our favorite action star who was kind enough to extend financial support to our dream project Local Utpaat. He's a country boy for a reason and we're highly grateful for his contribution towards this special film".



He adds, "I mean, he's such a big star. To my surprise, he called me back after I requested help and asked me to send him my account details. This was of immense help because I managed to pay my fighters something more than what we'd budgeted".



"The film released today in theatres all over Assam and we're very grateful for Vidyut's contribution", he concludes.



One of the top martial 2022, Vidyut Jammwal is all set for the theatrical release of Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pariksha and has exciting projects like IB 71 and Sher Singh Raana in the making.

Mumbai, July 15 - India's action star Vidyut Jammwal is set for his Hollywood debut with Legendary Pictures' live-action Street Fighter movie, based on the video games from Capcom, according to the report by Deadline. Vidyut Jammwal, who has been deliberate about the project, will play the role of Dhalsim, a yogi with fire-spitting abilities — a fundamentally peaceful man who fights to support his family. The character was first introduced in Street Fighter II in 1991. The project is currently in development by Legendary and distributed by Sony Pictures. The film will be directed by Kitao Sakurai. Earlier, YouTuber twins Danny and Michael Philippou of the channel RackaRacka were in talks to direct the film, but later dropped out of the movie due to other commitments. As has already been announced, Street Fighter cast will also include Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and Hirooki Goto as E. Honda. Mumbai, May 26 - The 4th installment of producer Vipul Shah's action thriller franchise Commando is officially in the works and has already commenced filming, confirms Adah Sharma who reprises her role as Bhavana Reddy. ## The shoot of Commando 4 commences with no prior announcement. The movie reunites the lead pair Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma after "Commando 3" which was released in 2019.## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Adah said that she is excited to be back as Bhavana Reddy in the upcoming film. "I am doing Commando with him (Vipul Shah), where I again play Bhavana Reddy. So for the action fans, that’s still there. There will be more action and more comedy... that role stays as is in Commando". ## Andy Long, who is Jackie Chan's stunt director, is on board the movie. "So the action is also going to be quite cool, and they are using different objects as weapons. Mumbai, April 15 - Action star Vidyut Jammwal's IB 71 has been announced to release on May 12 this year in theaters worldwide. Based on true incidents, the film is directed by National Award winner Sankalp Reddy. ## The espionage thriller is based on a true incident of how Indian Intelligence Officers outwitted the entire Pakistani establishment and gave the Indian armed forces the required advantage to face a two-front war during the 1971 war.## The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vidyut Jammwal, Abbas Sayyed, and Reliance Entertainment. Jammwal plays the role of an IB agent along with Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in key roles.
