Mumbai, October 27 - It has been a great year for Bollywood youngster Kartik Aaryan on the work front. Apart from delivering one of the biggest hits of the year in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the actor also has announced some very exciting projects for the future.
After the success of BB2 at the box office, Kartik is now gearing up to score on the digital platform. Disney Plus Hotstar has announced the exclusive digital premiere of Kartik's romantic thriller Freddy. The movie is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and also features Alaya F as the female lead along with Jeniffer Piccinato.



Freddy was almost meant for an OTT release, but there were reports that it might take the theatrical route as digital platforms have allegedly distanced themselves from taking Bollywood movies for direct OTT release. However, it seems the makers were never ready for the theatrical release of the film and now, it will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar soon.





While it has been confirmed that Freddy will stream on Disney+ Hotstar, the film's release date is not revealed yet. "Freddy" is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Northern Lights Films, and The Vermillion World.
