Mumbai, August 27 - The sequel to the much-awaited Gujarati horror hit Vash has kicked off its theatrical run on a good note at the domestic box office with one of the strongest starts for a Gujarati title. The original film was a big hit, so there was genuine excitement for Vash Level 2, which was released simultaneously in its original Gujarati version and a dubbed Hindi version. The Hindi remake of Vash - Shaitaan did make a very good ground for the sequel to go wide with a Hindi dubbed version, and the opening didn't disappoint. On its first day, the film grossed an estimated 1.50-1.75 crore across India. Out of this, the Hindi dubbed version contributed an estimated 50-60 lakh, which is an impressive start for a regional film entering the national market. This is probably the best start ever for a Gollywood title in the dubbed version. Directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, Vash Level 2 carries forward the eerie atmosphere and supernatural elements that made its predecessor a cult favourite. With positive word of mouth and a wider release strategy, trade experts believe the film has the potential to grow further over the weekend. If it maintains momentum, Vash Level 2 could emerge as one of the biggest Gujarati films to find pan-India visibility, continuing the trend of regional cinema breaking barriers through dubbed releases. New Delhi, September 9 - It has been excellent last few weeks for the regional Indian movies at the box office. While the main stream cinema is reaching new heights, the success of the regional movies has been heartening, and two of the hugely successful movies emerged in the last few weeks Punjabi and Gujarati cinema.## Mastaney - The Punjabi-language historical action drama film has had fantastic run so far, especially at the overseas box office. It has become the second highest-grossing Punjabi movie of all-time, behind only recently released all-time blockbuster "Carry on Jatta 3" which grossed over 100 crores worldwide.## Mastaney, directed by Sharan Art, has grossed approximately 69 crores worldwide in 15 days so far. In India, the movie has minted approximately 28 crores while overseas collection is 41 crores. Domestically, it has 5th highest-grossing Punjabi movie of all-time. The movie was on course to score another 5-7 crores more but got hit badly after the release of Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan".## 3 Ekka - Starring prominent Gujarati actors, Malhar Thakar, and Yash Soni, the comedy drama film has truly been on sensational run so far. Since its debut on August 25, the movie has performed consistently well in the first two weeks.## Thanks to its brilliant run so far, "3 Ekka" has become the second highest-grossing Gujarati movie of all-time. In the two week, the movie scored approximately 22.20 crores net (26.25 crores gross) collection to emerge one of the biggest blockbusters of Gujarati cinema. Ahemadabad, October 10 - India's official entry for the 95th Academy Awards, Last Film Show ("Chhello Show") is scheduled to release on October 14th in theaters across the country. ## Produced by Roy Kapur Films in association with Monsoon Films, and Jugaad Motion Pictures, the movie will have its Thursday preview as the celebration of its Oscars 2023 pick by the Indian jury. The makers have announced that the movie will be released in 95 cinemas on Thursday night, and for that, the ticket price has been kept at Rs. 95.## While the Gujarati-language coming-of-age drama was set to release theatrically across India on Friday (October 14), audiences can now catch it in advance on Thursday night itself at a low price.## Sharing the news, director Pan Nalin said, "There has been immense excitement among fans for our film 'Last Film Show' ('Chhello Show') and we are all too happy to release it on the 'Last Show' of Thursday.
