Netflix Top 10: Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' Continues To Soar In Viewership
Mumbai, February 28 - After lending in the top five most-watched films worldwide in its opening weekend, superstar Shah Rukh Khan's comedy-drama Dunki remained one of the most-watched non-English films on Netflix for the second consecutive week.



Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki scored 11.1 million viewing hours from 4.2 million views during the week of February 19 - February 25 and was the third most-viewed non-English film worldwide. The movie was made available to stream from February 15 and it scored 13 million viewing hours from 4.9 million views in the first 4 days.





Dunki has so far scored 24.1 million viewing hours from 9.1 million views, making it one of the most-watched Indian films on the streamer in the first 11 days. Additionally, it is trending in the top 10 in 21 countries, including number 1 in India, UAE, Oman, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Maldives, and Pakistan.



Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, Dunki witnessed higher viewership than SRK's last movie Jawan which scored 8.9 million views at the same time on Netflix. Jawan, however, huge box office blockbuster with a worldwide gross collection of over 1150 crores while Dunki minted over 450 crores gross globally.



Dunki is based on the illegal immigration technique called "donkey flight" which chronicles the journey of a group of friends dreaming of going abroad. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal in an extended cameo, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, among others key roles.
