'Sanam Teri Kasam 2' To Release On Valentine's Day 2026

Mumbai, February 11 - Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane-fronted romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam, which was originally released in 2016, has emerged as a big success upon its re-release 9 years later. The film is doing fantastic business and is set to become the biggest re-release grosser in India.





Despite the setback originally, Sanam Teri Kasam has turned into a cult classic over the years with immense popularity on television. Due to that, the demand for the sequel has been going on and to the excitement of the fans, the makers announced the sequel last year with Harshvardhan.





Now, in a recent interview, director Vinay Sapru, who directed the film with Radhika Rao, confirmed that the script for part 2 is ready and also hinted that it would be released on the next Valentine's Day. He also revealed that the songs are nearly complete.





The filmmaker said that Sanam Teri Kasam was envisioned as a two-part film and the makers were waiting for the right time to make part 2. Since the film has emerged as a success in its re-release run, the team is confident on part 2 which will go on floors soon.





Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru are also working on other teen romance films which they will try to bring every Valentine's Day.
