Times When Celebrities Predicted Their Own Success on Twitter
Mumbai, January 23 - A few days ago, Canadian actor Simu Liu was trending on Twitter because of one of his tweets of 2018. This happened after Twitter started a thread on 18 January, sharing tweets from celebrities who predicted their fame and success before it came true.
Starting the thread, Twitter captioned "if you can dream it, Tweet it" a photo of Megan Thee Stallion superimposed with a tweet the singer posted on 27 May 2014. "I need a team bc I promise rap gone take off for me", Megan wrote over six years before the release of her 2020 album, Good News.
But Megan isn't the only celebrity who predicted a future full of success. Simu Liu, in one of his tweets made in 2018, asked Marvel to talk about the film on "Shang-Chi", for an opportunity to star as the lead character in "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings". And we all know what happened next.
OK @Marvel, are we gonna talk or what #ShangChi
