Tom Hardy Gives An Exciting Update On Venom 3

Los Angeles, February 24 - Sony Pictures' Spider-Man universe is still moving forward in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the studio has several films in the works which will eventually lead the face-off between Spider-Man and Venom.

One of the films in the Spider-Man universe is Tom Hardy-fronted Venom 3. The excitement got peaked when Hardy's Eddie Brock briefly appeared in the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" post-credit scene, after he and the Symbiote (Venom) had been transported to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.



After "No Way Home", Sony Pictures announced that "Venom 3" was officially in the works. There hasn't been much development since then, but now, Hardy has excited fans by announcing that "Venom 3" is officially in the pre-production work.



The actor took to Instagram to share the update and also shared a deleted scene that was cut from a previous Venom movie featuring Eddie and the Symbiote having a hilarious exchange.



"Venom 3" will be directed by Kelly Marcel who has also written the script with Hardy. Kelly previously wrote the first two installments of Venom and served as a producer on both films. Sony Pictures hasn't set a release date yet for the film.

Reportedly, there are around 30 IMAX locations that are capable of playing 70mm film reels, and the bookings for The Odyssey have opened in 26 of them. ## The initial response to the movie is excellent, as expected. The iconic BFI IMAX in London opened the pre-sales for the movie, and in less than 30 minutes, the midnight and 8 PM shows on July 17 are almost sold out. Interestingly, the BFI IMAX doesn't refund tickets in any case. ## About The Odyssey ## The Odyssey follows Odysseus, the legendary Greek king of Ithaca, on his long and perilous journey home following the Trojan War, chronicling his encounters with mythical beings such as the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, and the witch-goddess Circe, and culminating in his reunion with his wife, Penelope. ## The movie stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, alongside Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal, among others, in prominent roles. ## Stay tuned...
