Prabhas' 'Salaar' Reportedly Confirmed To Release In Two Parts

Bengaluru, April 16 - Superstar Prabhas' period action thriller film Salaar with director Prashanth Neel has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced in 2020. The biggie is being produced by Hombale Films which previously produced mega-blockbusters KGF: Chapter 2 and Kantara last year.## The highly anticipated Pan India biggie is also making noise for the blockbuster rumours around it and one of them going viral ever since is that it would be released in two parts. Now, the latest development confirmed that the movie will indeed be released in two parts. ## There is a video going viral on social media in which popular Kannada actor Devaraj is reportedly hinting toward the film's second part. Devaraj is said to be playing the role of villain and he can be heard saying that his role will be more in the second part than the first part. ## The makers have been tight-lipped about the movie's two-part release. Director Prashanth Neel said previously that if it is in two parts, it will be told at the right time and in the right way, but it seems Devaraj has spoiled their ambitious plans of announcing the second part in a grand fashion. ## Apart from being shot on a huge scale, Salaar is carrying a massive star cast across different industries. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead while Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran are also there in prominent roles along with many others. It is also being speculated that Yash aka Rocky Bhai might feature in a cameo role. ## Salaar (First Part) is scheduled to release on September 28, 2023, in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil languages. ## #Salaar Two Parts Confirmed 🥳💥 #Prabhas pic.twitter.com/oN2oK6bHCu— Hail Prabhas (@HailPrabhas007) April 15, 2023 ## Stay tuned...

Hollywood filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov has partnered with Reliance Entertainment and Sharad Devarajan's Graphic India to produce a slate of Hindi films. Timur will bring his Screenlife filmmaking format to India through Hindi language productions. ## The Russian origin director who is known for films such as "Wanted" (2008), "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" (2012), and "Night Watch" (2004), will develop a slate of original local language films leveraging the Screenlife genre in India with his other two partners. ## In the first phase of the new partnership, Bekmambetov and Sharad Devarajan of Graphic India will be working closely with Reliance Entertainment on the development and production of the three films by up-and-coming Indian filmmakers and storytellers. The first project has been finalized and is expected to go into production early next year.## The Screenlife movie format is one where the story unfolds as seen on the screens of devices such as smartphones and computers. The format made a massive breakthrough in 2015 when Bekmambetov produced "Unfriended". The film grossed $65 million worldwide with a budget of $1 million.
