Tere Ishk Mein Box Office: Dhanush, Kriti Sanon's Romance Drama Heading To Enter 100 Crore Club
Mumbai, December 6 - Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's Tere Ishk Mein has started the second weekend with a decent hold, scoring approximately 3.75 crores net collection in both Hindi and Tamil versions. The movie has a big competition this week in the form of Dhurandhar, which is clearly the number 1 movie of the weekend. In the original Hindi version, it raked in 3.50 crores net on the second Friday, dropping by around 77% from the first Friday, and approximately 25 lakh in Tamil. Overall, the romantic drama has piled up 83.25 crores net in Hindi and around 4.15 crores in Tamil, pushing the total domestic haul to 87.40 crores net (103.75 crores gross) through the second Friday. It will cross the 100 crores net mark by the second Sunday, and will become the first movie (Hindi or non-Hindi) of Dhanush to achieve the feat. Combined with domestic gross, it has minted 118 crores worldwide so far, heading towards 135 crores gross at the end of the second weekend. As said, TIK is a box office hit, continuing the good year for romantic dramas. At this point, the film is looking to finish its box office run around 175 crores worldwide, but it needs to be seen how it fares during the weekdays since Dhuradhar is expected to dominate with positive word of mouth by its side.
