Dhurandhar 2 Release Date: The Second Part of Ranveer Singh's Spy Actioner To Release In March 2026
Mumbai, December 5 - After the weeks-long speculations, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar has been confirmed to be a two-part saga, with the second part coming on March 19, 2026, clashing with Toxic and Dhamaal 4. The development was confirmed with post post-credit scene of the film, which got released today. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy action thriller is getting a solid reception from the audience despite being one of the longest Indian films ever made, with 3 hours and 34 minutes. It is said that the lead to part 2 is solid and enough suspenseful to excite the audience. It was reported that director Dhar shot over 7 hours of footage, with each shot being important in the context of the story, and it led the makers to come up with 2 parts indeed to release the film in a single part. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar is set against the backdrop of the IC-814 hijacking in 1999 and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. The film follows India's Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal, who crafts a daring and indomitable mission to infiltrate and dismantle a powerful terrorist network operating out of Pakistan. To execute this high-risk operation, Sanyal recruits an unlikely asset, a 20-year-old boy from Punjab, held captive for committing a revenge-driven crime.
