Producer Reacts To Akshaye Khanna's Exit From Drishyam 3 and Confirms His Replacement

Mumbai, December 27 - Akshaye Khanna, who has been riding on the success of Dhurandhar, gave a major shock to the makers of the upcoming suspense thriller Drishyam 3 by exiting the film at the last moment. It was reported that the actor demanded high remuneration, among others, which wasn't met and eventually led the actor to exit the film. Now, Drishyam 3's producer Kumar Mangat Pathak has reacted to the news, and he has blasted Akshaye Khanna for his unprofessional behaviour. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the producer revealed what went on behind the scenes, accusing the actor of making unreasonable demands and stating that he plans to sue him. He insisted that he would like to wear a wig. But (director) Abhishek Pathak convinced him that it wouldn't be practical, as it would result in continuity issues since Drishyam 3 is a sequel. He understood his point and agreed to let go of that demand. However, the chamchas around him advised him that he would look smarter if he donned a wig. So, he again requested the same. 'Drishyam 2' Hindi Cast To Reunite For 'Drishyam 3'

Mumbai, July 9 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the final chapter of the crime suspense thriller franchise, Drishyam, which begins filming this October and releases in theatres worldwide on October 2, 2026, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. ## Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3 will reunite the cast of Drishyam 2. According to the report by Pinkvilla, actress Tabu, who has been a big part of the movie and featured in the first two movies, will return alongside Akshaye Khan, who featured in the second movie, for the third film. ## It is said that director Pathak recently discussed the idea of Drishyam 3 with Tabu and Khanna, and the actors were bowled over by the unpredictability of the screenplay, and instantly agreed to come on board the upcoming film. ## The report further stated that Drishyam 3 will most likely be the final film of the franchise, centring on the three main characters portrayed by Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna. The story picks up directly after the second film. ## Apart from Tabu and Akshaye Khan, Drishyam 3 is also confirmed to feature Shriya Saran, who played Ajay Devgn's wife. SS Rajamouli's Epic Blockbuster 'RRR' To Re-Release In Telugu and Hindi On May 10

Mumbai, May 6 - SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster RRR is coming to the big screens again to rescue theatres amid the absence of notable new releases. Starring Jr. NTR, and Ram Charan, RRR is produced by DVV Entertainment. ## On Monday (May 6), Pen Movies which distributed the film in Hindi, announced that RRR will be re-released on May 10, 2024. It will be re-released in the original Telugu language along with the dubbed Hindi version. ## RRR was originally released in March 2022 and was one of the highest-grossing Indian films at the worldwide box office with over 1200 crores gross. Tokyo, May 4 - Director SS Rajamouli's period action drama RRR continues its historical run at the Japanese box office. The movie was released in October of last year in Japan, and even after 6 months, it is playing in a handful of cinemas. ## A great example of "RRR's" longevity at the Japan box office is that it scored the biggest Monday collection on May 1, which was the 193rd day since its release.
