'Drishyam 2' Hindi Cast To Reunite For 'Drishyam 3'

Mumbai, July 9 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the final chapter of the crime suspense thriller franchise, Drishyam, which begins filming this October and releases in theatres worldwide on October 2, 2026, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. ## Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3 will reunite the cast of Drishyam 2. According to the report by Pinkvilla, actress Tabu, who has been a big part of the movie and featured in the first two movies, will return alongside Akshaye Khan, who featured in the second movie, for the third film. ## It is said that director Pathak recently discussed the idea of Drishyam 3 with Tabu and Khanna, and the actors were bowled over by the unpredictability of the screenplay, and instantly agreed to come on board the upcoming film. ## The report further stated that Drishyam 3 will most likely be the final film of the franchise, centring on the three main characters portrayed by Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna. 'Drishyam 3' To Have Same Story In All Versions

Kochi, June 23 - After the official announcement, director Jeethu Joseph has dropped a major update regarding Drishyam 3. There have been speculations that the Hindi version of this crime suspense thriller will be different, unlike the first two movies, which were remakes of the original Malayalam films. ## During a recent conversation with the Times of India, director Jeethu Joseph, who directed the first two Malayalam versions of Drishyam 3 and will return for the third instalment, said that the script of the upcoming film is nearing completion and contrary to the rumours, he confirmed the plot will be same in all versions. ## "There have been reports that the Hindi version will have a different story, but that's not true. The Hindi film will also be based on my story. Once I complete my script, it will be shared with the Hindi team, who will then adapt it to suit their setting and make suitable cultural changes", the filmmaker said. ## Both Hindi and Malayalam versions of Drishyam 3 will start rolling in October this year. There were rumours that the Malayalam movie would be released before the Hindi, but Jeethu Joseph hinted that both versions may have a simultaneous release. ## "There was a request from their side for a simultaneous release. So, we have been discussing the prospect of releasing the films simultaneously. In this OTT age, they feel that releasing on different dates might reduce the film's impact in other languages", he added. ## It is confirmed that Drishyam 3 Hindi will be directed by Abhishek Pathak and will see Ajay Devgn and the rest of the cast reprising their roles. Mumbai, February 22 - The third instalment of the crime suspense thriller Drishyam is starting sooner than expected. A couple of days ago, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal officially confirmed Drishyam 3 with director Jeethu Joseph, and now, an update regarding the Hindi version of the film has emerged. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Ajay Devgn is reuniting with director Abhishek Pathak for Drishyam 3. It is said that Ajay was committed to doing some other movies but now, he has put the third movie of the franchise to the front. The shoot will commence in August this year. ## While not clarified in the report, it can be assumed that both Malayalam, which is the origin of the franchise and the Hindi version will be shot simultaneously, as reported last year.
