World Hashtag Day: South Indian Cinema Dominate Top Twitter Hashtags In India For 2021

Hyderabad, August 23, 2021: Thala Ajith Kumar's upcoming actioner, Valimai, is the most tweeted hashtag of 2021 as Twitter India has revealed the list of the most tweeted Hashtags in India for the first half of 2021. Among the top 10 Twitter hashtags, South Indian cinema dominates with six hashtags. ## Valimai topping the list is not surprising as it is the most hyped and surrounded film of the year. While Valimai takes the top spot, Thala Ajith's hashtag #ajithkumar begs the 4th spot in the list, making him the only person in the top 5 of the most tweeted hashtags. ## The second-most tweeted hashtag of the year belongs to Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster film, Master. In a Covid-19 restricted entertainment industry at the beginning of the year, it was Master that kept fans' spirits up and the Tamil industry alive. No wonder Master is second on the list of the most tweeted hashtags in India in 2021.## Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata finds its place on the most tweeted hashtags in India at third place. Thalapathy Vijay's next film, tentatively titled "Thalapathy 65", is the fifth most tweeted hashtag of the first half of 2021. Pawan Kalyan's super hit movie, Vakeel Saab, also finds a palace at the bottom of the top 10 list. ## Among the other top hashtags, Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik's hashtag is the number 7 in the list.
