Salman Khan In Talks With Malayalam Director Mahesh Narayanan For An Action Thriller

Mumbai, May 30 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start his next film, which is with director Apoorva Lakhia, about the Galwan Valley Clash between India and China. While the movie is slated to go on floors in a couple of months, Salman is actively in talks with several other directors. ## It is said that Salman Khan has reportedly been talking to Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Anees Bazmee, and Rajkumar Periasamy. Now, according to the report by PeepingMoon.com, the "Sultan" star is in talks with Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan for an action thriller film. ## The report states that Narayanan held talks with Salman in Mumbai for a large-scale action thriller. While the discussions are still at a preliminary stage, the actor is believed to be intrigued by the story's premise and has expressed interest in hearing a full script narration in the coming months. ## The project in question will be produced by Salman's sister, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her husband, Atul Agnihotri's banner, Reel Life Productions. It is said to be a more commercially oriented script of Mahesh Narayanan, who is best known for acclaimed Malayalam films like "Take Off," "CU Soon," and "Malik". ## Meanwhile, Salman Khan will be playing Colonel B. Santosh Babu, who led the 16 Bihar Regiment during the clash and was martyred while confronting Chinese troops during the Galwan Valley Clash in 2020. Mumbai, April 17 - Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has reunited with his director father David Dhawan for a comic caper Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which is currently on floors. Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde are playing the female leads.## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the team has completed over 50% of the film shoot, and the next month-long schedule is set to take place in Scotland, starting from April 22. Meanwhile, apart from the original leading trio, director David Dhawan has got a big ensemble on board the film. ## It is said that Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar have been locked to play key roles in the film, and they all will be part of the upcoming schedule. Anees Bazmee has written the script and will return to direct it. ## According to the latest reports, the makers have locked Tamannaah Bhatia to play one of the female lead roles. The actress has reportedly signed the project and is excited to explore the comedy genre. It is said that she will be seen in a role similar to Bipasha Basu's character from the original movie.## Apart from Tamannah, the makers are in talks with Aditi Rao Hydari about playing another female lead. While her casting hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, reports suggest that if finalised, the actress will bring a unique dynamic to the ensemble. The actress already has Chhaava and Thama with the studio and their collaboration extended to one more film. ## Recently, it was reported that Maddock Films to scheduling the sequel to 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail with an entirely new cast. It was revealed that Shahid Kapoor has been signed on to headline Cocktail 2, taking over from Saif Ali Khan, who played the lead in the first film alongside Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. ## Now, according to the latest report, Rashmika Mandanna has been locked to play one of the female leads opposite Shahid in this love triangle sequel. Box Office: 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Singham Again' Collectively Top 500 Crore Net Collection

Mumbai, December 1 - After a dull couple of months post-Stree 2's mega success in August, the festival of Diwali brought good luck for the Bollywood film industry in November, thanks to the two of the most-waited films - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. ## Rohit Shetty's directorial cop action drama Singham 3, starring Ajay Devgn, was the bigger film. However, it was Kartik Aaryan's horror comedy that rocked the show and won the clash with a superb collection in India and worldwide. SA though wasn't too far and did reasonably well at the box office.## Even after 4 weeks of release, both films doing well on a day-wise basis at the domestic box office, and thanks to that, their combined net collection has topped 500 crores making it the biggest Diwali ever at the Indian box office. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has emerged as a super hit and through the 5th Saturday (30th day), it has minted approximately 255+ crores net collection. On the other hand, Singham Again is an average-to-hit venture with around 245 crores net collection in the same number of days. ## As reported earlier, BB3 is the biggest grosser for Kartik Aaryan as well as for director Anees Bazmee and the rest of the main cast. Box Office: 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Crosses 200 Crore India Net

Mumbai, November 13 - Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy emerged as a big box office hit and became the 4th Bollywood film of 2024 to cross 200 crores net collection. The movie achieved this milestone on its second Monday (11th day). ## Directed by Anees Bazmee, BB3 scored 204 crores net until the second Monday which made it the 37th Bollywood movie and 41st film ever in Hindi to breach the 200 crores net mark. It was released in a clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again which topped double century in 10 days. ## BB3 is the maiden film of Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya, and Madhuri Dixit as well as for director Bazmee to enter the 200 crore net club. For Kartik and Bazmee, their previous biggest net grosser was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which minted approximately 184 crores net collection in 2022. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, BB3 is the instalment in the blockbuster horror-comedy franchise and the second for Kartik after BB2. Box Office: 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Second Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 11 - Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has crossed 200 crores net collection after a decent hold on its second Monday. It has become the first movie of the actor to breach the milestone. ## According to the early estimates, the Anees Bazmee's directorial movie scored an estimated 5-5.50 crores net collection on its second Monday (11th day), dropping around 70% from the first Monday. This pushes the total cume to around 204 crores net which is fantastic. ## The second full week of BB3 is probably heading for around 55+ crores net which will take its total collection to around 213+ crores net before Suriya's Kanguva arrives on November 14 which is expected to get a good number of screens. It needs to be seen how much it will affect the holdover. ## Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again surpassed the 200 crores net mark on its second Sunday and held decently on Monday for an estimated 4-4.50+ crores net, dropping around 75% from the first Monday. This takes the total collection to around 211 crores net in 11 days. ## Singham 3 is expected to score 46-47 crores net second weekend, and it will be interesting to see how to perform there once the completion increases. Mumbai, November 4 - The Bollywood releases on Diwali 2024, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have had a big first weekend each at the domestic box office. Both the movies managed to score 100+ crores each and this is the first time that 2 Bollywood films have scored 100 crores net each in the same weekend. ## Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn along with a strong supporting cast, was the biggest beneficiary during the holiday weekend.
