Akshay Kumar Team Up With Top South Producer For Telugu Blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunam's Hindi Remake

Mumbai, October 13 - One of the biggest Telugu blockbusters of the year, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, is reportedly getting ready to be remade in Hindi with superstar Akshay Kumar. Originally directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Venkatesh Daggubati, the action comedy was released in January 2025 and went on to gross over 250 crores worldwide. According to Gulte.com, producer Dil Raju, who backed the original film, will be producing the Hindi remake. He has reportedly locked Anees Bazmee to direct the remake, marking the filmmaker's reunion with Akshay after 17 years, since Singh Is Kinng (2008). The Bollywood superstar will play the lead role, originally played by Venkatesh Daggubati. The story is described as a triangular crime entertainer, focusing on a man, his ex-girlfriend, and his wife. Discussions are ongoing to finalise the two female leads, along with other cast and crew members. It is an interesting as well as a risky choice of Akshay Kumar to do a remake, at a time when franchise and remake films are struggling at the box office. Producer Boney Kapoor Reacts On The Rumours of Varun Dhawan's No Entry 2

Mumbai, October 13 - The sequel to No Entry (2005) has been in the news for a long time. Anees Bazmee, who directed the original film, will be helming the sequel, which was supposed to be headlined by Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh. However, over the last few weeks, there have been rumours that the comedy film might have undergone a complete cast reshuffle. It was reported that Diljit Dosanjh has exited the movie due to other commitments, while rumours also surfaced online that Varun is also considering dropping the much-awaited film. It was reported that No Entry 2 is set to be shelved due to the exit of the main actors. Now, producer Boney Kapoor has addressed all the rumours surrounding his upcoming film. In a major relief to the fans, the filmmaker confirmed that the sequel, tentatively titled No Entry Mein Entry, is well on track, denying the rumours of the film getting shelved. In a recent interview, the producer confirmed that Varun Dhawan has not exited the project, stating, "We are making No Entry Mein Entry, and Varun and Arjun are very much in the film. We are in active discussions to lock our other hero and the rest of the cast". The sequel will reportedly feature ten heroines and be produced on a grand scale. It marks a fresh chapter in the franchise that began with Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Fardeen Khan, two decades ago and became a cult film. Mumbai, May 30 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start his next film, which is with director Apoorva Lakhia, about the Galwan Valley Clash between India and China. While the movie is slated to go on floors in a couple of months, Salman is actively in talks with several other directors. ## It is said that Salman Khan has reportedly been talking to Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Anees Bazmee, and Rajkumar Periasamy. Now, according to the report by PeepingMoon.com, the "Sultan" star is in talks with Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan for an action thriller film. ## The report states that Narayanan held talks with Salman in Mumbai for a large-scale action thriller. Box Office: 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Singham Again' Collectively Top 500 Crore Net Collection

Mumbai, December 1 - After a dull couple of months post-Stree 2's mega success in August, the festival of Diwali brought good luck for the Bollywood film industry in November, thanks to the two of the most-waited films - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. ## Rohit Shetty's directorial cop action drama Singham 3, starring Ajay Devgn, was the bigger film. However, it was Kartik Aaryan's horror comedy that rocked the show and won the clash with a superb collection in India and worldwide. SA though wasn't too far and did reasonably well at the box office.## Even after 4 weeks of release, both films doing well on a day-wise basis at the domestic box office, and thanks to that, their combined net collection has topped 500 crores making it the biggest Diwali ever at the Indian box office. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has emerged as a super hit and through the 5th Saturday (30th day), it has minted approximately 255+ crores net collection. On the other hand, Singham Again is an average-to-hit venture with around 245 crores net collection in the same number of days. ## As reported earlier, BB3 is the biggest grosser for Kartik Aaryan as well as for director Anees Bazmee and the rest of the main cast. Box Office: 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Crosses 200 Crore India Net

Mumbai, November 13 - Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy emerged as a big box office hit and became the 4th Bollywood film of 2024 to cross 200 crores net collection. The movie achieved this milestone on its second Monday (11th day). ## Directed by Anees Bazmee, BB3 scored 204 crores net until the second Monday which made it the 37th Bollywood movie and 41st film ever in Hindi to breach the 200 crores net mark. It was released in a clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again which topped double century in 10 days. ## BB3 is the maiden film of Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya, and Madhuri Dixit as well as for director Bazmee to enter the 200 crore net club. Box Office: 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Second Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 11 - Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has crossed 200 crores net collection after a decent hold on its second Monday. It has become the first movie of the actor to breach the milestone. ## According to the early estimates, the Anees Bazmee's directorial movie scored an estimated 5-5.50 crores net collection on its second Monday (11th day), dropping around 70% from the first Monday. This pushes the total cume to around 204 crores net which is fantastic. ## The second full week of BB3 is probably heading for around 55+ crores net which will take its total collection to around 213+ crores net before Suriya's Kanguva arrives on November 14 which is expected to get a good number of screens. It needs to be seen how much it will affect the holdover. ## Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again surpassed the 200 crores net mark on its second Sunday and held decently on Monday for an estimated 4-4.50+ crores net, dropping around 75% from the first Monday. This takes the total collection to around 211 crores net in 11 days. ## Singham 3 is expected to score 46-47 crores net second weekend, and it will be interesting to see how to perform there once the completion increases.
