ANTIM IS ON COURSE TO BE A SUCCESSFUL FILM

Mumbai, Dec 9, 2021: Antim - The Final Truth starring Ayush Sharma and supported by an extended special appearance by Salman khan released in theatres on 26th November 2021. The film was said to be an adaptation of the Marathi film Mulshi pattern and was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. ## On 26th November, the film took a decent start with the first-day figures being at 5.03 Cr. The opening was not like it has to be but considering the main target market operating at 50% occupancy for a film that was totally regional in feel and non-cast in talent then the opening is decent. The film grew over the weekend and collected a healthy total of over 18 Cr. ## The weekdays hold was very crucial for Antim and it passed this period with a good amount of collections. There was a little drop on Wednesday and further on Friday due to the new release 'Tadap' but the drop was not at all alarming. As a result, the first week's business came over 29 Cr Nett. ## The film is still running and collecting well in cinemas with collections of over 35cr net at the moment. The lifetime collections are set to be in the 40-42cr range depending upon the hold in the 3rd week, which will make the film a decent successful film. According to a report published in a popular magazine 'Film Information' handled by Komal that, Antim has become a successful film if you don't look at the film as an out and out Salman khan starrer. The film was a part of 3 film deal with Zee and antim was valued at approx 30-35cr which had to be covered through satellite and digital. Box Office: Tadap Packs A Solid Punch At The BO In The Opening Weekend

Mumbai, December 6 - Ahan Shetty's Bollywood debut kicks off to a promising note as the newcomer's "Tadap" put up a strong total at the box office over the first weekend. Released on December 3, "Tadap" netted Rs. 13.52 crores in the first three days, which is a great result of a debutante, even in the pre-covid level. ## The Sajid Nadiadwala's production, also featuring Tara Sutaria as the female lead, opened to Rs. 4.05 crores on Friday with a slight jump (1.79%) on Saturday for Rs. 4.12 crores. For the Sunday holiday, "Tadap" jumped by nearly 30% for a healthy Rs. 5.35 crores, taking its 3-day total to Rs. 13.52 crores.## Directed by Milan Lutharia, "Tadap" was way ahead of Salman Khan, Ayush Sharma, and Mahima Makawana-starrer "Antim: The Final Truth", which netted an estimated total of Rs. 5.48 crores over the second weekend. However, "Antim" showed growth over the second weekend, taking its 10-days total India net to Rs. 34.83 crores and worldwide gross to Rs. 47.2 crores (approx.). ## Made in a budget of around Rs. 20 crores, "Tadap" has so far grossed approx Rs. 19 crores worldwide. The box office collection so far for the remake of the Telugu movie "RX100" is a big relief for the Bollywood film industry. It was a question mark on the film's success considering the covid-19 pandemic and a new face leading it. All the doubts are gone now, and the eyes will be on how it performs over the weekdays for the healthy first week total. ## Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar-fronted "Sooryavanshi" is going strong at the box despite being available on Netflix. The Rohit Shetty-directed netted an estimate of Rs. 85 lakh on the 5th Sunday (31st day) to finish the 5th weekend with Rs. 1.87 crores. With Rs. 193.21 crores India net so far, it has grossed Rs. 288.7 crores worldwide. Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Antim' Maintains A Strong Hold On Monday

Mumbai, November 29 - Salman Khan's "Antim: The Final Truth" passes the crucial Monday test by maintaining a stronghold at the box office. The Mahesh Manjrekar-directed dropped just 35.58% from Friday (₹ 5.03 cr.) for the Monday collection of ₹ 3.24 crores. ## Also starring Ayush Sharma and Mahima Makawana in the main roles, "Antim: The Final Truth" has earned ₹ 21.85 crores net so far. It has had more than a decent opening weekend, in which it grossed ₹ 22 crores through the first three days (Fri-Sun). Maharashtra and Gujarat showed a better trend than the other states.## "Antim: The Final Truth" is on track for ₹ 28 crores net in the opening week, which is going to be a decent run considering competition with "Sooryavanshi" and "Satyameva Jayate 2". Overseas, it has grossed approx ₹ 5.70 crores so far, taking its worldwide gross total to ₹ 31.50 crores. The movie was projected as a mass entertainer and it is performing well on single screens. ## With competition with other films every week at the box office in December, it will be interesting to see how "Antim" goes about its business. Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Antim' Jumps On Sunday To Finish The Opening Weekend On A Decent Note

Mumbai, November 28 - Superstar Salman Khan's extended screen presence in "Antim: The Final Truth" has helped the film to end the opening weekend on a decent note at the box office. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, "Antim" opened over this weekend on Friday (November 26). ## With Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makawana in the lead roles, the movie netted ₹ 5.03 cr on Friday (slightly lower than expected). The strong word of mouth and positive critics reviews came to the party as the movie jumped by 19.88% (₹ 6.03) on Saturday and then by 25.21% on Sunday for ₹ 7.55 crores, for a 3-day total of ₹ 18.61 crores.## While the producers won't be too disappointed with the box office outcome of "Antim" so far, it was, however, expected to do much more than it actually did. The family audience is still hesitating to visit theaters despite the positive trend towards cinema-going. ## Meanwhile, on the other hand, John Abraham-starrer "Satyameva Jayate 2", which was released a day earlier on November 25, performed low over the opening weekend for an estimated 4-day total of ₹ 10.45 Cr. Despite seeing a slight jump on Sunday, the sequel to 2018's film fell well short of what the producers had expected from it at the box office. ## Yash Raj Films' "Bunty Aur Babli 2", is another film that didn't find its audience and was rejected at the box office. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Sharvari Wagh, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the sequel to 2005's hit film, netted just ₹ 11.9 crores in the opening week in India, starting from November 19. Mumbai, November 28 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had shared a video in which his fans can be seen bursting crackers inside a theatre during the screening of "Antim: The Final Truth". The superstar, on Saturday night, issued an appeal, requesting fans not to burst crackers inside the theatre. ## "Request all my fans not to take fire crackers inside the auditorium as it could prove to be a huge fire hazard thereby endangering your lives and also others. My request to theatre owners not to allow fire crackers to be taken inside the cinema and security should stop them from doing so at entry point. Salman Khan And Ayush Sharma's 'Antim: The Final Truth' To Lock Horns With John Abraham Starrer Satyameva Jayate 2!

Mumbai, October 11 - The release prospect for the Bollywood film industry has changed in the last couple of weeks. Movies that were supposed to be heading for direct-to-digital release are now gearing up for the theatrical release. One such film is Salman Khan and Ayush Sharma starrer "Antim: The Final Truth".## "Antim: The Final Truth", the gangster-cop drama was earlier reportedly sold for direct OTT release. However, after theaters in Maharashtra were permitted to operate from October 22, the makers changed their plans and now opting for theatrical release. The film was in line for its possible Diwali release. However, the movie is now scheduled to hit the big screens on November 26 after director Manjrekar filmed few more scenes on Salman. ## Salman, who recently returned from Tiger 3 shoot, has been shooting for a few extra scenes. A source told mid-day, "After returning from the international schedule of Tiger 3, Salman filmed some solo dialogue scenes between October 4 and 6. The decision to add more sequences, featuring the actor, was taken jointly by Salman and Mahesh after seeing the rushes of the gangster-cop drama". ## After the latest development, "Antim" will most probably be clashing with John Abraham starrer "Satyameva Jayate 2", which has already been confirmed to release on November 26.
