Krithi Shetty Reunites With Naga Chaitanya For Venkat Prabhu's Bilingual Movie

Hyderabad, June 23 - Actress Krithi Shetty has been paired opposite Naga Chaitanya in director Venkat Prabhu's Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie. This marks the quick reunion of Shetty and Naga after their hit Telugu movie "Bangarraju", which also starred Akkineni Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna in the leading roles. ## Srinivasaa Silver Screen which is producing the film tentatively titled NC22 announced Krithi Shetty on board as the female lead via Twitter on June 23. The studio also confirmed that the legendary Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Raja will be scoring the music for the film. ## NC22, which marks Venkat Prabhu's maiden collaboration with Naga Chaitanya, was officially launched with the Pooja ceremony on July 23. Shooting Abroad For 'Thank You' As India Battled Covid Was Upsetting: Raashii Khanna

Hyderabad, May 28, 2021: South Indian actress Raashii Khanna said that it was upsetting for her to shoot for her Telugu movie, Thank You, in a foreign location at a time when India is battling the second wave of covid-19. The actress was shooting for the film in Milan, Italy and recently returned home. ## Speaking about her experience shooting for the film in Italy, Raashii said it was safe because people in the country very responsibly observed protocol. ## "We were in the middle of the pandemic and I was at first scared to go there (Italy). Once there, I realized people in Italy were very responsible for wearing masks even though the second wave had passed. Very few people were shooting with us in the crew and all precautions had been taken", Raashii told IANS. ## "While I was there, the second wave in India intensified and I was constantly reading about what was happening in India. It was upsetting. It felt bad that our country was suffering and we were away. Now we are back and we can't do much. It's a helpless situation. We shot for what we had gone for, but it was upsetting humanly. We were constantly thinking about what was happening back home", she added. ## Raashii, who made her debut in 2013 with Madras Cafe - her only Hindi movie to date, said that shooting in Italy for "Thank You" was challenging as there were restrictions on movement because they were Indian. Some of the locations were canceled as the growing pandemic situation in India went against them. ## "There were days when we were shooting for 18 hours a day because we didn't have a choice. It wasn't like pre-pandemic that you could shoot at luxury and anywhere you wanted to", the actress added. ## Thank You is a romantic comedy film that stars Naga Chaitanya in the male lead role. It will be Raashii's second release with Naga Chaitanya after "Venky Mama", and she says her role in the film will be relatable. Mumbai, April 13 (IANS) In keeping with the trend of re-telecasting hit old TV shows during the COVID-19 lockdown, the popular "Balika Vadhu" is in for a re-run, and actress Avika Gor, who played the central role of Anandi in the serial, is clearly on cloud nine.## Taking to Instagram Story, Avika posted a video that shows her singing the show's title track, "Choti Si Umar Mein", a Rajasthani folk.## "Balika Vadhu re-telecast... I am so overwhelmed," she captioned the video, thanking her other former co-stars.## "Balika Vadhu" was aired from 2008 to 2016. The show deals with the issue of child marriage.
