Marvel Studios 'Black Panther 2' And 'Ant-Man 3' Get Release Date In China

Beijing, January 17 - After more than 3 years, Marvel Studios secure its first release in China as it confirmed release dates of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. ## Director Ryan Coogler's "Black Panther 2", which was released last year globally, will be hitting Chinese theaters on February 17, followed by "Ant-Man 3" on February 17, 2023, day and date with North America release.## Due to the de facto ban on Marvel Movies, the studio was not able to get its movie released in Mainland China, costing Marvel/Disney hundreds of millions in potential ticket revenue. The last approved theatrical releases from the studio were "Spider-Man: Far From Home" and "Avengers: Endgame", way back in early/mid-2019. ## The news about the China release dates of the aforementioned films was shared by Marvel on Tuesday over its official Chinese social media accounts, as per The Hollywood Reporter. "Black Panther 2" will be the first Phase 4 MCU flick to release in the country. ## Over the last couple of years, many Marvel movies were denied release in China, as such - Black Widow, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder. Disney, the distributor of Marvel tentpoles worldwide, can finally breathe a sigh of relief. ## Stay tuned...

Black Panther Actress Angela Bassett Have Faith In Director Ryan Coogler To Make Black Panther 2 Glorious

Los Angeles, May 19, 2021: Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) next superhero film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is set to begin filming in July this year. The squeal of MCU's first Oscar-winner in Black Panther will be one of the most emotional productions in MCU's history. ## Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be without the original Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman, who died in August last year. Boseman's emotional connection with fans will be missed in the sequel, but Marvel is sure that the "Wakanda Forever" will take the franchise to the next level. For the good of the sequel, nearly every major star from the original film is coming back to reprise their role and everyone is dedicated to making sure Chadwick's memory lives on. ## That includes Ramonda star Angela Bassett, who plays the role of Black Panther/T'Challa's mother in the film. She is excited to return to the wide world of Marvel and confident that Ryan Coogler, the writer-director of Black Panther, will make the sequel a glorious one. ## "I'm excited, as you can imagine, very excited. Of course, there'll be some changes we know - we know we won't have our heart and soul right there at the center in Chadwick, but in spirit, I know that he will be with us from day one through infinity", Bassett spoke with Good Morning America (via thedirect). ## Since Chadwick Boseman won't be there in the sequel, the Black Panther fans are worried about this Marvel's next gem. However, Bassett assured fans that they don't have to worry about a thing with director Ryan Coogler at the helm, who is earless, wonderful, and visionary. ## "Black Panther fans don't have to worry about a thing because we have our fearless, wonderful, visionary leader Ryan Coogler there, you know, on the script and their directing. I have no doubt that it will be glorious, that it will be wonderful. He's a visionary, an auteur, he's a kind of gentle soul and he encourages you in his own particular way, his own sweet way, gentle, insistent way to give your best, so I have absolute faith in him", she added. ## Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to hit theaters on 8 July 2022. ## Stay tuned...

Michael B. Jordan Reacts To The Title Of Black Panther 2, Says 'Marvel Does Great Work'

Los Angeles, May 8, 2021: Ever since Marvel Studios has revealed the title of Black Panther 2, which is now, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", fans are overjoyed and couldn't hold their excitement to watch this movie. "Wakanda Forever" is something that echoes in the minds of every Black Panther fan as it reminds them of the late Chadwick Boseman - the original Black Panther. ## Well, after the much-talked-about title announcement, all eyes are on Michael B. Jordan, who played N'Jadaka/Erik "Killmonger" Stevens in the first Black Panther movie. Jorden didn't know the title of the sequel until the host of the Just For Variety podcast informed him just minutes before it was announced by Marvel.## "Nice. Awesome", Jordan reacted to the title. "I like that. … Marvel does great, amazing work and the characters are awesome. We all took a hit with the loss of Chadwick, so for them trying to figure out how to move forward, I know it's not an easy thing to do. So the fact that they settled on a title and figuring out this story, I think is truly incredible. If anybody could figure it out, it's Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige". ## Jordan also hadn't seen Monday's Marvel trailer that features footage of him and Boseman together while Stan Lee is heard saying in voiceover, "That man next to you, he's your brother". "Wow", Jordan said, choking up. "Stan Lee saying that? I got to check it out". ## He said of his late friend and co-star, "I wish I had more time". ## Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, who was behind Black Panther, Wakanda Forever will continue to explore the incomparable world of Wakanda and all of the rich and varied characters introduced in the first film. The film will be released in theaters on July 8, 2022. ## Stay tuned...

Marvel's Black Panther 2 eyeing March 2021 to begin filming!

Marvel is hoping to begin filming of its upcoming biggie Black Panther 2 in March 2021. According to a post found on the Production List (via Reddit user smoove4254), the sequel of the Black Panther will start shooting in March 2021 in Australia. ## The original Black Panther was one the Marvel's biggest hits as it shattered the box office records and became the first comic book movie to nominated for the Best Picture. ## After the success of Black Panther, Marvel officially announced its sequel in San Diego 2019, and later it dated in May 2022 to release the film. Ryan Coogler is returning to direct the film and making this the first time when he will direct a sequel to one of his previous films. ## With the coronavirus threat still looming large, several Hollywood biggies were forced to shut down its production indefinitely. However, Marvel is hopeful that things will be safe by the time 2021 starts and Black Panther 2 can move forward as per plans. ## Talking about the original Black Panther, it is Marvel's one of the highest-grossing movies of all-time. It earned nearly $ 1347 M [$ 1.347 B] and became the 9th highest-grossing movie of all-time at that time. Marvel is hopeful that Black Panther 2 will create the same kind of hype when it will release in 2022. ## Stay tuned...
