Directed by Homi Adajania, the working footage from the set of the film has been leaked online, showing Shahid Kapoor in a vibrant red floral shirt paired with denim shorts, exuding a carefree, breezy look. Kriti Sanon was spotted alongside him in a beachwear-inspired outfit "“ a yellow shrug over a pastel bikini top and a fringed skirt. Another shot featured Rashmika Mandanna in an elegant orange-patterned dress, sharing screen space with the cast in what appears to be a stylish evening party sequence lit with fairy lights. The visuals confirm that Cocktail 2 is staying true to the glamorous aesthetics that made the original film iconic. Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon To Join Shahid Kapoor In Cocktail Sequel

Mumbai, December 18 - Rashmika Mandanna is on the signing spree and has locked another Bollywood film with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. The actress already has Chhaava and Thama with the studio and their collaboration extended to one more film. ## Recently, it was reported that Maddock Films to scheduling the sequel to 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail with an entirely new cast. It was revealed that Shahid Kapoor has been signed on to headline Cocktail 2, taking over from Saif Ali Khan, who played the lead in the first film alongside Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. ## Now, according to the latest report, Rashmika Mandanna has been locked to play one of the female leads opposite Shahid in this love triangle sequel. This marks Shahid and Rashmika's first film together after the duo came close to sharing the screen in Anees Bazmee's, now-shelved, comedy entertainer. ## The second female lead of Cocktail is said to be Kriti Sanon who is a frequent collaborator with Maddock Films. The actress will be reuniting with Shahid after this year's hit romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which was also bankrolled by Maddock. ## Cocktail is written by Luv Ranjan and he will be involved through the entire creative process as a partner on the film. The script is said to be loaded with humour and light-hearted moments, centring around friendship between the trio. 'Cocktail' Sequel In The Works With Shahid Kapoor

Mumbai, November 23 - With franchises making waves at the Bollywood box office, more and more standalone films are getting sequels and the latest to join this trend is 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail which was headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. ## Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films with others, Cocktail was a box office hit with over 120 crores gross collection worldwide. Now, more than a decade later when franchises are succeeding at the box office, Maddock Films has put Cocktail 2 in the making. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, producer Dinesh Vijan has been working idea of the sequel with director Homi Adajania and they've now crafted a storyline that they believe matches the magic of the first film. Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is in talks to headline the project. ## Shahid has not yet signed on the dotted line but has reportedly verbally committed to this film, which would mark his second collaboration with Maddock following this year's robotic romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The report further states that the talks are on with young actresses to come on board. ## The film is expected to start rolling by the middle of 2025 after Shahid completes Vishal Bhardwaj's action thriller which goes on the floor this December.
