Highly-Awaited 'Stranger Things 5' Gets Release Date

Mumbai, June 1 - Netflix has finally announced the release date(s) of its highly anticipated sci-fi Stranger Things 5, which is the final season of one of the streamer's most successful series. ## On Sunday (June 1) IST, Netflix announced that the final season of Stranger Things will debut in three parts, with Volume 1 debuting on November 26, followed by Volume 2 on Christmas (December 25) and Volume 3 on New Year's Eve (December 31). ## The announcement was made during Netflix's Tudum fan event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, with stars Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp running through some look-back clips before revealing the dates for season five via a teaser, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. ## The streamer had earlier announced that there will be a total of 8 episodes in the final season of the blockbuster show. Marvel Studios Unveils Original Title of Latest Tentpole 'Thunderbolts'

Los Angeles, May 6 - Marvel Studios' summer tentpole Thunderbolts* is off to a solid start at the domestic and worldwide box office with $74.3 million and $160.4 million opening weekend, respectively. This is among the best starts for a new Marvel superhero movie, the studio is wasting no time in taking further steps to strengthen its legs. ## In an interesting move, the studio has changed the title of the film from Thunderbolts to The New Avengers. Marvel Studios' 'Thunderbolts' Projected To Score $175+ Million Worldwide Opening

Los Angeles, April 30 - Marvel Studios' much-anticipated Thunderbolts is looking to dominate the box office after flying high with the reviews from critics. The movie is already among the top-rated Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbusters with nearly 90% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes. ## According to Deadline, the superhero movie is projected to earn $175 million in its opening weekend at the worldwide box office. Domestically (North America), the film is projected to open with $70 million - $75 million, and likely much more, while overseas, the weekend is aimed at $90 million - $100 million. ## The North America presales for Thunderbolts* stands at $12+ million (per Deadline), which is on pace with another first instalment MCU movie, 2021's Eternals ($71.2 million). Los Angeles, March 27 - The Avengers have assembled once again, 6 years after Avengers Endgame emerged as one of the biggest grossers in history, as the filming of Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday has begun. ## On Wednesday, Marvel Studios surprised everyone when it announced the cast of the upcoming film during a nearly five-and-a-half-hour live stream. The cast of Doomsday has some surprising names, consisting of a mix of Marvel Cinematic Universe mainstays as well as actors from 20th Century Fox's now-defunct X-Men universe and upcoming stars of Fantastic Four: First Steps. ## The studio announced 26 actors who would feature in the upcoming film, and among the returning cast members from Endgame are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Winston Duke as M'Baku. Marvel Announces The Star Cast of 'Thunderbolts' Film At D23 Expo

Anaheim, September 11 - Marvel Studios has revealed the solid star cast of its upcoming superhero movie Thunderbolts at the D23 Expo. Apart from showing footage of various upcoming Marvel titles, Marvel-head Kevin Fiege revealed Marvel's anti-hero team for "Thunderbolts", which will conclude MCU's Phase 5. ## Wyatt Russell (John Walker/US Agent), Hannah John-Kamen (Ava/Ghost), Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine) are all part of Thunderbolts, and so is Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova/Black Widow, and Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster. ## Red Guardian, Yelena, and Taskmaster all hail from the recent "Black Widow" movie, while Ghost was last seen in "Ant-Man and The Wasp". US Agent was one of the main antagonists of "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier", which of course also starred the beloved character Bucky Barnes.## Similar to DC's "Suicide Squad", the Thunderbolts are a team of antiheroes and villains who will be tasked to work together and achieve a certain goal. There have been dozens of members in the Thunderbolts comics. Stranger Things 4 Surpasses 1 Billion Hours Watched Mark On Netflix

Mumbai, July 6 - Netflix has its second billion hours watched show as Stranger Things 4 has surpassed this rare milestone after the final two episodes.## The final two episodes dropped on July 1st as a part of Volume 2 of "Stranger Things 4" helped the show to pull in another 301.2 million viewing hours last week, including approx. 220 million watched hours of episodes 8 & 9. The total watched hours of this sci-fi horror drama series has now reached 1.15 billion. ## "Stranger Things 4" is the most-watched only show on Netflix and the second most for any language. It is also only the second show ever to cross 1 billion viewing hours on Netflix, after Korean global hit "Squid Game", which clocked 1.6 billion watched hours in its first 28 days. ## The Duffer Brothers-created series was the most-watched show for the week (June 27 - July 3) and it is only expected to rise over the next three and a half weeks. However, "Squid Game's" record is looking like a far cry as "Stranger Things 4" is unlikely to reach that target. ## The season finale of ST4 is one of the most intense episodes yet of the series. It ended on an emotional note, leaving enough scope for the final season of the series to go bang bang. Duffer Brothers recently revealed in an interview that they will start writing the final season in September this year. Spider-Man Star Tom Holland Reacts On Scarlett Johansson-Led Black Widow

Los Angeles, July 10, 2021: After getting delayed for more than one year, Marvel Studios' female-led superhero movie, Black Widow, finally playing in theaters on July 9. The 24th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was also released simultaneously on Disney+ Premier Access with $30 additional fees required in the US. ## As expected, Black Widow opened with highly positive reviews from critics and audiences.
