Sidharth Shukla Gives His Verdict On The Debatable Fight Of TV vs OTT

Mumbai, May 22, 2021: Popular face of Indian television, actor Sidharth Shukla is all set to explore the world of digital medium with ALTBalaji's upcoming web series, "Broken But Beautiful 3". Due to the covid-19 pandemic, digital platforms have seen an exponential rise and many believe that the rise of OTTs could be a big threat for TV. ## Sidharth also has his opinion on the debatable fight between OTT and TV. While the actor agrees that OTT is the new thing now, both the small screen and the digital platform come with their share of challenges, and one which will produce good content, will be accepted. ## "I know the whole world is hooked to the web platforms, and I feel it is the new medium now. The OTT consumption, especially since the last year, has tremendously increased. People are consuming different things, and actors are willing to experiment more with content on the webspace", Sidharth Shukla said.## "Both the mediums have their share of challenges. As actors, our job is to act in any medium. I strongly believe if the content is good, people will watch it, irrespective of the medium. I am truly excited about my digital debut and am looking forward to the audience's response to Broken But Beautiful 3", he added. ## Talking about his debut web series, "BBB3", it is the story of Agastya Rao (Sidharth Shukla) and Rumi Desai (Sonia Rathee), two people from very different worlds, who falls in love with each other but find now way going forward. ## Directed by Priyanka Ghose, the series also features Ehan Bhat, Jahanvi Dhanrajgir, Manvir Singh, Taniya Kalra, and Saloni Khanna in prominent roles. One of the reasons for the show to be in red hot demand, is the fresh casting of the leading pair, in Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee, and both of them are making their digital debut with the series. ## While Sidharth is a well-known face for the audience, Sonia is still new as an actor. Despite working together for the first time, the irresistible chemistry between the leading pair is being loved by one and all, and fans are really excited to both of them in the show. ## Meanwhile, Sonia Rathee said that she had a lot of fun working with Sidharth in the show and calls him really funny. But yes, it takes time to be comfortable with the person. Sidharth is playing a writer-director, who believes in the 'artistic' side of entertainment. The show follows the story of Agastya and Rumi, who falls in love but finds no way.
