Shah Rukh Khan's 'Main Hoon Na' Sequel In Development

Mumbai, February 5 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's iconic action-packed entertainer Main Hoon Na is getting a sequel with director Farah Khan returning to the helm the second part. The film was released in April 2004 and completed 20 years last year. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Farah Khan is working on a script that could serve as a perfect sequel to Main Hoon Na, which was the first film produced by SRK under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.## The report states that Farah Khan wants to make the sequel with SRK. She has cracked the idea for Main Hoon Na 2, which the superstar loved. The filmmaker is currently working to crack the screenplay with her team of writers at Red Chillies. SRK is waiting to see the final script before taking the call. ## "SRK is clear to not make a sequel just for the sake of it and is well aware of the fan following that Main Hoon Na has among the cinema-going audience. He has asked Farah and his in-house team of writers to honestly work on the screenplay and come up with something that surpasses the impact of the first part", says the report.## If things go as planned, it will mark SRK's fourth collaboration with Farah Khan after Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. The original movie also starred Sushmita Sen, Suniel Shetty, Amrita Rao, Zayed Khan, and Kirron Kher, among others. ## Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to start action entertainer King with director Sidharth Anand. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Reportedly Approached For Yash-Fronted 'Toxic'

Mumbai, February 5 - Kannada superstar Yash soared to nationwide popularity after the mega-blockbuster KGF film franchise and after one-and-a-half-year, he recently announced his next film which is Toxic with Malayalam director Geethu Mohandas.## Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the makers have approached Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a key extended role. "It's an author-backed role and not one of those just added for a gimmick. There is a proper track for the character which has been offered to SRK, and the makers are hoping to have him on board", says the report. ## Shah Rukh Khan is on top of his game at the moment with three back-to-back big successes last year in which the actor grossed over 2600 crores at the worldwide box office with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. The actor hasn't given his node yet for the role in Toxic but the makers are hopeful for the same. ## As reported earlier, SRK was also approached for director Lokesh Kanagaraj's film with superstar Rajinikanth but de declined the offer. Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan's 'The King' Reportedly Put On Hold

Mumbai, January 31 - Last year, it was reported that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be teaming up with his daughter Suhana Khan to headline director Sujoy Ghosh's directorial. The movie was reportedly titled The King and was supposed to go on floors early this year. ## Suhana Khan recently made her acting debut with director Zoya Akhtar's "The Archies" which was directly released on Netflix. The film failed to provide a memorable launch pad for Suhana, and it looks like she will have to wait a bit longer to taste the success. ## According to the latest reports, SRK has put "The King", in which he was supposed to play an extended role, on hold as it is said that he isn't keen on his daughter being subjected to unfair comparisons to the superstar, especially after "The Archies". SRK himself is looking to play larger-than-life roles after the king of success he has had in the last year in the form of "Pathaan", "Jawan", and "Dunki". ## "I don’t think that project is happening, not after The Archies. Suhana needs to find a project as far removed from her father as possible. Earlier, SRK was tempted to get on camera with his daughter ASAP. Nikhil Dwivedi to produce Rajesh Khanna biopic directed by Farah Khan

Mumbai, Dec 28 (IANS) Producer-actor Nikhil Dwivedi is all set to bankroll a film based on the life of superstar Rajesh Khanna. ## The producer has acquired the rights to Gautam Chintamani's book 'Dark Star: The Loneliness Of Being Rajesh Khanna'. The screen adaptation will be directed by Farah Khan, who will also script the film along with Gautam Chintamani. However, the casting of the film is underway. ## Shedding light on the development, Nikhil Dwivedi said: "Yes, I've acquired the rights to Gautam Chintamani's book, 'Dark Star', and I'm in talks with Farah Khan to make the film. That's all I can say for now. As and when any major development happens, I'll be happy to share because I'm really very excited about bringing Rajesh Khanna's story to the big screen." ## Born Jatin Khanna, and affectionately called 'Kaka' by his industry friends, he was quite a complex personality, and unfortunately, misunderstood by many. The actor is known for delivering 17 mammoth blockbusters in succession, which resulted in mass hysteria, especially among his female followers, back in the 1970s. ## Talking about the project, Farah Khan said: "Yes I have read Gautam's book and it's very fascinating. Chennai, Dec 24 (IANS) Tamil actor-filmmaker R. Parthiepan has become the latest entry on the list of Indian actors and film personalities to receive the Golden Visa from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). ## The coveted recognition was presented to the National Award-winning filmmaker by officials of the UAE's Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. Parthiepan expressed his gratitude to the Dubai government for awarding him the visa. ## In the past, Malayalam cinema superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty, 'Minnal Murali' lead actor Tovino Thomas, and Bollywood personalities Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Boney Kapoor, Farah Khan, Suniel Shetty and Tusshar Kapoor have received the Golden Visa. ## Speaking from Dubai, Parthiepan said: "I am so happy that I have been given the Golden Visa.
