Durgamati Review: Audience Call Bhumi Pednekar Starrer Disappointing
The much-awaited horror thriller film, Durgamati: The Myth starring Bhumi Pednekar finally premiered on Amazon Prime Video on December 11. The movie is directed by G. Ashok and is an official remake of his own Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Bhaagamathie which starred Anushka Shetty in the lead role. ## While the expectations were high from Durgamati (earlier titled Durgavati), the Hindi remake of Bhaagamathie couldn't reprise the magic which the original film had. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar, and Vikram Malhotra, Durgamati has been disappointing largely because it failed to scare people which is its joner.
