Mumbai, February 11 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda is looking for a powerful comeback with his upcoming film with director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The action drama, tentatively titled VD 12, is one of the most-anticipated Telugu movies of the year and it will also be released in Hindi and Tamil. ## Meanwhile, the makers have announced that the title teaser of VD 12 will be launched on February 12. Adding to the excitement, the makers have teamed up with superstar Jr. NTR along with Ranbir Kapoor and Suriya to lend their voices for the much-awaited title teaser. ## It has been confirmed that Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has lent his voice to the Hindi teaser while Suriya has dubbed for Tamil. Though Raut has directed only three films, his popularity has increased immensely post the mega box office success of Ajay Devgn's "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior". ## Om Raut is currently working on the post-production of what could be his biggest film, Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush". The movie is scheduled to release on January 12, 2023, all over the world. Now, according to the reports, Raut has been approached to direct another mega movie, "Shaktimaan". ## According to a news portal, Om Raut has been approached to direct "Shaktimaan", which might have Ranveer Singh in the title role. Ranveer has reportedly shown interest in playing Pandit Gangadhar Vidyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri aka Shaktimaan. Shaktimaan Movie To Be Made In A Budget of Rs. 300 Crores

Mumbai, June 18 - The iconic television show, "Shaktimaan" was a huge hit when it was first aired in 1997. Mukesh Khanna played the titular superhero character and his alter ego Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri, a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz.## The legendary superhero character, which made the childhood of 90s kids awesome, will now be returning to the big screen in the form of the "Shaktimaan" trilogy. Sony Pictures, which is behind the Marvel superhero films like "Spider-Man", and "Venom", hold the rights to the film. ## In a recent conversation with Amar Ujala, Mukesh Khanna shared a few details about the movie and also hint who could play the titular role. The actor, and producer said that it will be made on a huge budget of Rs. 300 crores and will have full desi vibes. ## "This project has come to me after many years. People used to tell me to make Shaktimaan 2. I didn't want to bring Shaktimaan back on TV", Khanna said. "After internal talks, I joined hands with the Sony people and later made the news public. People want to know what’s happening next. Now, what should I tell them? This is a big film of at least Rs 300 crore. Can't tell you much about it till everything is finalized". ## "This movie is being made by the makers of Spider-Man. But, Shaktimaan will be desi. I have prepared the story of the film in my own way. My only condition to them was that they wouldn't change the story", he added. ## Mukhesh Khanna hints that he might turn Shakitmaan again as he feels that the Indian audience will not accept anyone else in this iconic role. "People ask who will become Shaktimaan? This is also a very big question in itself, which I will not answer, but it is also certain that without Mukesh Khanna, there will be no Shaktimaan. Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' Tops 100 Crores Worldwide In Two Days

Chennai, June 5 - Raaj Kamal Films International's production, Vikram is putting up a sensational show at the box office not only domestically but overseas also. The Kamal Haasan-fronted movie was expected to score big but it has exceeded those expectations by a big margin by collecting 100 crores worldwide gross in just two days. ## Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Vikram" took the second-biggest opening for a Tamil movie in 2022 with 37.5 crores gross at the domestic box office. It grossed 23.10 crores in Tamil Nadu alone, which is the 3rd biggest in 2022. With super positive word of mouth, the action thriller put up one of the strongest holds on the second day, grossing 33.6 crores for a total of 71.1 crores domestic gross. ## "Vikram" dropped a little over 10% on the second day (Saturday), which is probably the lowest dip ever for a top-tier Tamil movie. Usually, South Indian films tend to take a huge drop on the second day which was not the case with "Vikram" which remained almost unbreakable. In Tamil Nadu, it did gross a fantastic 20.10 crores on Saturday, boosting the total gross to 43.30 crores in the home state. ## Meanwhile, the overseas box office collection of "Vikram" is also phenomenal with 32 crores gross in two days. In the USA, the movie has grossed $1.3 million (10.08 crores) so far. The total worldwide gross of the movie now stands at 103.10 crores, which is the fastest ever for a Kamal Haasan movie. ## "Vikram" was released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages. While Tamil collections are extraordinary, the movie has done very well in Telugu states by grossing 7.5 crores in two days. The Hindi version has underperformed and has collected only 60 lakh net.## Vikram was one of the highly-anticipated Tamil movies that mark director Lokesh's first collaboration with Kamal Haasan. Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil have played prominent roles while Surya feature in a cameo role as Rolex.
