'Jaat' Director Gopichand Malineni Reunites With Balakrishna For A Historical Epic

Hyderabad, June 8 - Director Gopichand Malineni has reunited with Telugu veteran Nandamuri Balakrishna for a historical epic film, tentatively titled NBK 111. The duo previously collaborated on Veera Simha Reddy, which was released in January 2023 and emerged as a box office hit. ## The announcement of NBK 111 was made on Sunday, June 10, with a poster featuring a lion with a half mask. It will be produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas, the banner currently backing Peddi with superstar Ram Charan. ## While the details about the project are not revealed yet, it is said that it will be a historical action drama. Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' Censor Certificate And Theatrical Runtime Revealed

Mumbai, April 9 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for his next film Jaat. The movie, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, is slated to hit the big screens on April 10. ## Ahead of the much-awaited release, the makers cleared the censorship formalities on April 8. The film has officially been censored with U/A (16+) by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 33 minutes (153 minutes). ## As per reports, the CBFC has asked to make 22 changes, including replacing abusive words and replacing as many as 10 scenes with CGI. Due to changes, 2 minutes and 6 seconds of scenes were cut and replaced with appropriate visuals, totalling 1 minute and 37 seconds.## The official plot summary of Jaat reveals, "In a remote coastal village, ruthless criminal Varadaraja Ranatunga terrorizes the locals. A traveling stranger's chance encounter with his men uncovers the villagers' suffering. Realizing the deep-rooted corruption, he takes matters into his own hands. Mumbai, January 24 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for mass entertainer Jaat which is the director's maiden Bollywood project. Telugu giant Mythri Movie Makers produces the film with People Media Factory. ## On Friday (January 24), the makers announced the release date of this much-awaited action drama. Box Office: Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Bhagavanth Kesari' Crosses 100 Crores Gross Worldwide

Hyderabad, October 30 - Veteran Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna has completed the hattrick of 100 crores grosser at the worldwide box office with his latest action drama Bhagavanth Kesari. Earlier, "Akhanda" and "Veera Simha Reddy" achieved this feat. ## Directed by Anil Ravipudi, "Bhagavanth Kesari has crossed the 100 crores gross mark as I type this (in 12 days) and becomes the 6th Telugu movie of the year to do so. The movie scored approximately 99 crores gross through the second Sunday (11 days) and is expected to be around 101 crores at the end of the second Monday. ## "Bhagavanth Kesari" has minted approximately 86 crores gross at the Indian box office and an estimated 13 crores overseas through second Sunday.
