Teja Sajja's Hanuman Vs Mirai Box Office: Opening Weekend Box Office Comparison

Hyderabad, September 16 "” Telugu cinema's young sensation Teja Sajja has been in some hot form at the box office after delivering two back-to-back big openers in the pan-India space, with Hanuman and his latest outing Mirai. Both films have witnessed excellent worldwide collections during their respective opening weekends. Interestingly, both films have performed neck to neck in the opening weekend in terms of worldwide collection. Directed by Prasanth Varma, Hanuman grossed approximately 72.50 crores worldwide in its opening weekend last year. Out of this,₹47 crores came from the Indian market, with the film performing strongly across Telugu states and making a solid dent in Hindi circuits as well. On the other hand, Mirai has managed to keep the momentum intact for Teja Sajja, recording around 71.50 crores worldwide in just three days. Interestingly, its India gross stands at around 52.50 crores, which is significantly higher than Hanuman's domestic haul. While Hanuman edged ahead globally due to overseas contributions, Mirai has shown a stronger hold in India. The close race between the two films highlights Teja Sajja's growing box office pull and his ability to draw audiences across regions. Though the people may argue over the similarities between the two films, it is hard to look away from the perfect choices the actor has made with these blockbusters. With both films finding success, Teja Sajja has firmly established himself as one of the most bankable young stars in Telugu cinema. Hyderabad, October 17 - Director Prasanth Varma created a sensation earlier this year with his superhero movie Hanuman which emerged as a surprise big blockbuster at the box office, grossing close to 300 crores worldwide. The movie, which kicked off Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, was headlined by Teja Sajja. ## After the mega success of Hanuman, the makers officially confirmed its sequel Jai Hanuman and the pre-production on the same started recently. Now, according to a social media post by Aakashavaani, Kannada star Rishab Shetty is likely to step in to headline this much-anticipated Pan India movie. ## Shetty recently won his maiden national award for the all-time blockbuster movie Kantara and has been the talk of the town regarding its prequel which is currently on floors. Hyderabad, June 30 - Telugu director Prasanth Varma's Pan India movie, "Hanuman", which was announced in 2021, is still in production as the makers are working on the film to make it a cinematic wonder.## Made on a decent budget, "Hanuman" has created a massive buzz after the teaser was launched in November last year. Teja Sajja-Fronted Superhero Film 'Hanuman' Scores Huge Pre-Release Business

Hyderabad, February 16 - Talented Telugu director, Prasanth Varma, won praises for his directorial "Zombie Reddy", last year. The movie, starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, was a box office hit and earned approx. 10 crores at the Indian box office. ## The hit combo of Vaman and Teja Sajja later reunited for Telugu cinema's first-ever superhero movie, "HanuMan: The Origin", which was launched in June 2021. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy under his banner Prime Show Entertainment, "Hanuman" is touted to be a unique superhero film that will be released in multiple languages including Hindi. ## Post the success of "Zombie Reddy", Varma and Sajja's second collaboration is getting a lot of hype in trade, which has resulted in its whopping pre-release business. According to industry insiders, "Hanuman" makers have sold the non-theatrical rights of the film in a huge Rs. 16 crores.
