Hyderabad, September 16 "” Telugu cinema's young sensation Teja Sajja has been in some hot form at the box office after delivering two back-to-back big openers in the pan-India space, with Hanuman and his latest outing Mirai. Both films have witnessed excellent worldwide collections during their respective opening weekends. Interestingly, both films have performed neck to neck in the opening weekend in terms of worldwide collection. Directed by Prasanth Varma, Hanuman grossed approximately 72.50 crores worldwide in its opening weekend last year. Out of this,₹47 crores came from the Indian market, with the film performing strongly across Telugu states and making a solid dent in Hindi circuits as well. On the other hand, Mirai has managed to keep the momentum intact for Teja Sajja, recording around 71.50 crores worldwide in just three days. Interestingly, its India gross stands at around 52.50 crores, which is significantly higher than Hanuman's domestic haul. While Hanuman edged ahead globally due to overseas contributions, Mirai has shown a stronger hold in India. The close race between the two films highlights Teja Sajja's growing box office pull and his ability to draw audiences across regions. Though the people may argue over the similarities between the two films, it is hard to look away from the perfect choices the actor has made with these blockbusters. With both films finding success, Teja Sajja has firmly established himself as one of the most bankable young stars in Telugu cinema.
