Ajay Devgn's Film With Director Jagan Shakti To Be A Jungle Adventure; Details Revealed

Mumbai, August 25 - Earlier this year, it was reported that Bollywood star Ajay Devgn would team up with Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti for the first time. The movie will be produced by Ajay under his banner Devgn Films. ## According to the latest report by Mid-Day, the film in question will be a jungle adventure, on the lines of Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones. The concept has largely been unexplored in Indian cinema and it is certainly the first of its kind movie for the Singham star. ## The script of the movie is currently in progress and the report says that the movie will be set in the forests of India, with Devgn on a quest to find an ancient relic. The story will have historical significance and will be steeped in folklore and mythology. ## The yet-untitled movie will be heavy on VFX and is expected to go on floors by December this year. It is said that the movie is being designed with children in mind. The film will feature high-octane set pieces and stunts. Ajay will sport a rugged look, donning a leather jacket and carrying a backpack. ## Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn will next be seen in director Rohit Shetty's highly-anticipated cop action drama Singham Again which is scheduled to be released on Diwali this year. It is expected to be a box office beauty this summer. ## Tom Cruise scored a massive box office win last summer when his "Tom Gun: Maverick" did wonders by grossing close to $1.5 billion globally. It was a timely blockbuster that helped Hollywood to recover from back-to-back underwhelming performances. ## A year later, the superstar is gearing up for another potential blockbuster, but this time, he also wants the audiences to see a couple of other movies which will release a week later his own blockbuster. ## The actor took to Instagram to urge fans to watch Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" and Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" which will be released on July 21, simultaneously as well as Harrison Ford's " Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" which releases on June 30.## "This summer is full of amazing movies to see in theaters. Los Angeles, June 6 - Marvel Studios' highly-awaited "Captain America: New World Order" has been re-titled as Captain America: Brave New World starring Anthony Mackie as a new Captain America. ## The new title was announced today (June 6) alongside a first-look photo of stars Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford on the film's set. The movie is currently the production for May 3, 2024, release date worldwide as announced originally. ## Marvel originally announced "Captain America 4" last July with the title "Captain America: New World Order". Anthony Mackie was handed the responsibility to take this iconic Marvel superhero character forward in his first outing as Captain America. ## Mackie got his start in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the Falcon, but he took on the Captain America shield in the Disney+ series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier". 'Black Widow', 'Indiana Jones 5' among Disney biggies to get new release dates

Los Angeles, April 4 (IANS) New release dates have been announced for several major Disney films including "Black Widow", "The Eternals" and "Indiana Jones 5" that have been pushed ahead owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.## "Black Widow", starring Scarlett Johansson in the title role, was delayed last month. The film will now open on November 6, in the place of fellow Marvel adventure "The Eternals", reports variety.com.## In turn, "The Eternals" moves to February 12 next year. "Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings", which introduces Hollywood's first Asian superhero, moves to May 7, while "Doctor Strange 2" will now release on November 5, 2021. "Thor: Love And Thunder" on February 18, 2022.## "Black Panther 2" will still debut on May 6, 2022, while "Captain Marvel 2" has been set for July 8, 2022.## The studio's live-action remake of "Mulan" has been pushed to July 24, 2020.## Sources at Disney note that release dates for all films could continue to move given the uncertainty over the global health crisis.## Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt's "Jungle Cruise" will release on July 20, 2021, roughly a year later than expected. Harrison Ford's "Indiana Jones 5", initially set for summer of 2021, will launch on July 29, 2022.## The sci-fi fantasy film "Artemis Fowl", which was supposed to open on May 29, will instead debut on Disney Plus, making it the studio's first film to entirely skip theatrical release.## For now, Disney is keeping dates for holiday offerings "West Side Story" (December 18) and "The Last Duel" (December 25).## Ryan Reynolds' "Free Guy," an action-comedy from its 20th Century banner, has moved from July 3, 2020 to December 11, 2020.
