Mumbai, July 16 - Producer Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has issued an official statement on the recent speculations about the remake rights of its action thriller Kill which is currently playing in theatres and doing decent business.## Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill was announced to be remade in Hollywood by John Wick director Chad Stahelski even before the film's official release in India on July 5. Mumbai, July 2 - Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment's A-rated action thriller Kill, which is scheduled to be released theatrically on July 5, is set to be remade in Hollywood by the John Wick director Chad Stahelski who will produce the movie for Lionsgate. ## Kill has been rated 'A' by CBFC for extreme violence and it is billed as the Indian version of the John Wick franchise. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the movie stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, and Tanya Maniktala in key roles. ## "Kill is one of the most vivid, wild, and creative action movies I've seen recently. Nikhil delivers relentless action sequences that need to be seen by as wide an audience as possible. It's exciting to be developing an English-language version รขโ‚ฌโ€ we have big shoes to fill and I'm looking forward to working with Nikhil, Karan, Apoorva, Guneet, and Achin to achieve that", Stahelski said in a statement (via Variety).## In a rare instance, the makers of Kill have partnered with any major Hollywood studio to release the movie in North America and the U.K. with Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions coming on board to distribute the movie there. ## In the film, when army commando Amrit (Lakshya) finds out his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. Mumbai, October 26 - John Abraham starrer "Satyameva Jayate 2" trailer has won the first race against Salman Khan and Ayush Sharma's "Antim: The Final Truth". Releasing in theaters a day apart on November 25 and 26 respectively, the trailers of both the films were released on October 25. ## The sequel to the 2018 film, Satyameva Jayate 2 is one of the most-awaited films. The trailer of the vigilante action drama, directed by Milap Zaveri, has been very well received by the audiences. In the first 24-hours, the trailer of SMJ2 got a huge 20.19 million views on the T-Series Youtube channel. It also got over 507K likes. ## Satyameva Jayate 2 features John Abraham in a triple role for the first time. The trailer gives glimpses of his looks as Vijay Singh Azaad / Satya Prakash Azaad / Jaideep "Jai" Azaad. Based on the fight against injustice and misuse of power, the movie also stars Divya Khosla Kumar in the female lead role along with Gautami Kapoor, Sahil Vaid, Harsh Chhaya, and Anup Soni among others. It is produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment. ## On the other hand, the trailer of "Antim: The Final Truth", which is based on the 2018 Marathi film Mulshi Pattern, fell way short of SMJ2 and got 13.1 million views on Youtube. It also got fewer likes (476K+ as compared to John Abraham fronted. Antim is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Salman Khan Films.## Antim: The Final Truth falls in the same genre as SMJ2. Salman Khan earlier had a second fiddle role in the film. However, after knowing that it will a theatrical release, the makers shot additional scenes with him and extended his cameo to a full-fledged role. He plays a Sikh cop while Ayush Sharma gets into the role of a gangster.
