The shoot wrapped on Tuesday, July 1, and marks another emotional tale from the world of Raanjhanaa (2013), which also featured Dhanush under Rai's direction. The announcement of the film's wrap was accompanied by a symbolic and striking image, two bloodied hands held tightly together, hinting at the emotional intensity of the story. In the film, Dhanush plays Shankar, while Kriti Sanon portrays Mukti. Mumbai, September 5 - National award winning actor Dhanush is reuniting with director Anand L Rai for a love story film, titled Tere Ishk Mein. The movie was in June this year with the first look teaser on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of "Raanjhanaa".## Now, according to Tamil industry tracker Amutha Bharathi, the makers are in talks with one of the leading Bollywood actresses, Kiara Advani to play the female lead role. The talks are said to be in the final stage and the actress is more or less confirmed for the role. ## "Tere Ishk Mein" is a love story reportedly set in the backdrop of air force. It will mark Dhanush and Kiara's maiden collaboration if happens. As reported recently, the shoot of the movie is expected to commence in November this year in Utter Pradesh and it will be shot in a straight three-month schedule. ## The movie is helmed by Aanand L Rai and its story, dialogues, and screenplay are penned by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. It was ALR who successfully launched the Tamil star in Hindi with the love story film "Raanjhanaa" in 2013 before the duo reunited for "Atrangi Re" (2021) which also starred Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo. ## The duo is now reuniting for an action love story, titled Tere Ishk Mein, which is set to go on floors in November this year. It is said that ALR has been working on the script for some time now. The movie was directly released on Disney+Hotstar on December 24, and as announced by the streamer, the film became the most-viewed Hotstar title on a premier day. ## While Hotstar announced that "Atrangi Re" is its most-viewed film on the first day, the question remains about the views it got. The OTT platforms have always been on the receiving side for manipulating viewership data and for their lack of transparency.## Ormax Media, a media consulting firm that tracks viewership figures of top releases across major platforms, is one of the trustable sources when it comes to viewership numbers. According to the company, "Atrangi Re" easily topped the last week by a long margin. The movie gained over 8.8 million views in the first 3 days, almost double than Sushmita Sen's "Aarya" Season 2's 4.7 million views from Dec. 20 to 26th. ## "Atrangi Re" was released in Hindi and Tamil (dubbed). Akshay Kumar To Play Legendary Indian Army Officer Ian Cardozo In Anand L Rai's 'Gorkha'!

Mumbai, October 15 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is making some huge unexpected movie announcements off late. Having multiple projects already in the pipeline, Akshay's hands are full of upcoming films, yet he is in no mood to put a break on his busy schedule. ## Ahead of the release of his big-budget actioner "Sooryavanshi", Akshay Kumar has finalized one more film, which will go on floors next year. The actor has teamed up with producer Anand L Rai once again for a film based on the life of the legendary officer of the Gorkha regiment of the Indian Army, Major General Ian Cardozo. ## Akshay will portray Ian Cardozo, who was awarded Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (SVSM) and Sena Medal (SM) for his service to the Indian army. Major Ian Cardozo was the first war-disabled officer of the Indian Army to command a battalion and a brigade. Titled "Gorkha", the movie will be directed by the National award-winning director Sanjay PS Chauhan. Sanjay Chauhan has two films to his name - Lahore (2010), Bahattar Hoorain (2019).## Chauhan won the National award for direction for Bahattar Hoorain and for the best debut film for Lahore. It will be his first collaboration with Akshay and Anand L Rai, who will be producing the film in association with Himanshu Sharma.
