Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 Gets An Official Title

Los Angeles, April 1 - Sony Pictures has confirmed the official title of Marvel's Spider-Man 4 starring Tom Holland in the titular role at CinemaCon on Monday. ## During Sony Pictures' presentation at CinemaCon, Holland appeared in a video clip to announce that the 4th Spider-Man movie, led by him, is titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day and it is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.## The movie will be directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton, and the filmmaker promised "a ride that we haven't really seen before" with this upcoming film. The title refers to a 2008 storyline that takes place after a universe-altering event in which everyone forgot who Spider-Man was. ## The last Spider-Man movie, led by Holland, was 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, which grossed over $1.9 billion at the global box office. Directed by Jon Watts, the movie also became the highest-grossing Spider-Man title in the long-running franchise. ## The shoot of Spider-Man: Brand New Day will kick off in the next few months. Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man 4' Gets The Director

Los Angeles, September 10 - Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios' much-anticipated Spider-Man 4 is officially in development and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton has been handed over duty to direct it, per The Hollywood Reporter.## Amid the speculation of who would take up the role to direct one of the biggest Hollywood films in the making, Cretton is set to lend the job. The filmmaker will bring fresh blood to this iteration of Spider-Man. Tom Holland will return to reprise his role as the web-slinger in the upcoming film. ## Destin Daniel Cretton will be the fourth director to direct a Spider-Man movie. Earlier, Jon Watts directed the previous three Holland-starring movies, while Marc Webb helmed the two Amazing Spider-Man movies that starred Andrew Garfield. Sam Raimi directed the trilogy that featured Tobey Maguire. ## The production of Spider-Man will commence in early 2025, and according to rumours, it will be released in July 2026, a couple of months after Avengers: Doomsday, which will be directed by the Russo Brothers. Interestingly, Cretton was supposed to direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (now Avengers: Doomsday), but was dropped amid the project's changing production schedule. ## Meanwhile, Cretton also has Sang-Chi 2 and a live-action adaptation of Naruto in the pipeline to direct. Los Angeles, August 13 - Maverick filmmaker, SS Rajamouli's global blockbuster RRR continues to win accolades all over the world. Los Angeles, June 4 - Last year in December, Tom Holland-led final movie in the Spider-Man trilogy, Spider-Man: No Way Home was released and did something which no one was expecting or had very expectations. The movie was unleashed at the box office and grossed a whopping $1.89 billion worldwide, becoming the only film to top $1 billion during the covid-19 pandemic. ## Directed by Jon Watts, the movie did introduce the multiverse concept in the MCU and left the audiences wanting more. Such was the satisfaction of watching this film that many believed it should have been nominated for the Oscars, which, obviously didn't happen. It, however, got nominations in the Best Visual Effects category. ## While the Academy didn't honor the movie with a single award, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" beat all the others to take home the Best Movie award at this year's MTV Movie & TV Awards. Jon Watts Reveals Title Of His Star Wars Series On Disney Plus To Be Headlined By Jude Law

Los Angeles, May 27 - Jon Watts, the director of Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy, has boarded actor Jude Law to headline his upcoming Star Wars series, titled Skeleton Crew. ## The news was revealed on May 26 amidst a plethora of Jedi and Rebel Alliance info dropped at the 2022 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. There had been speculations for weeks that Law would be in the series, and now he has officially been confirmed by LucasFilm. ## Taking place in the same timeline as The Mandalorian, and Book Of Boba Fett, Jon Watts reveals that Skeleton Crew is about "a group of kids who are about ten years old who gets lost in the Star Wars universe.
