Hollywood Romance Drama 'It Ends With Us' Surprises At The Indian Box Office

Mumbai, August 17 - Sony Pictures romantic drama It Ends With Us is turning out to be a surprise success at the Indian box office with a good collection. Directed by Justin Baldoni, the movie stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in the leading roles.## It Ends With Us was released with almost no awareness among the Indian audience and started with 2/3 shows in Key English-speaking cinemas, but thanks to the positive response from the Thursday Preview, it quickly spread to more than 300 screens.## The film had a very good opening weekend of approximately 5.25 crores gross box office collection and went on to collect around 9 crores in Week one making it the biggest romantic Hollywood film of all time in India besting The Fault in Our Stars which had a lifetime Gross of 6.4 cr.## The movie had a good hold on the second Friday as well collecting around 45 lakh gross despite massive competition from 6 local films including Stree 2, Khel, Khel Main, and Double iSmart.
