Mumbai, September 11 - Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller Ek Tha Tiger (2012), starring superstar Salman Khan, is returning to theatres. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film is the foundation stone of YRF's blockbuster Spy Universe. Originally released in August 2012, Ek Tha Tiger was a massive success and went on to become a blockbuster at the worldwide box office. With 320 crores worldwide, it was the highest-grossing Indian film of 2012 and the second-highest-grossing of all time at that time, behind Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots (350 crores worldwide). Box Office: 'Chandu Champion' Second Day/First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, June 15 - After the low start, Kartik Aaryan-fronted Chandu Champion shows a much-needed growth of around 40% on its second day which is a good recovery but the overall collection is still not big enough to cover the lost ground. ## Kabir Khan's directorial benefits from positive word-of-mouth as it collects around 6.50-7 crores net on its first Saturday, as per early estimates. Ideally, this should have been the opening day figure to set the tone for a good opening weekend but that is not the case. ## Chandu Champion's total collection after 2 days is around 11.50 crores. It can still manage to score a decent weekend if it can see a similar or better jump on Sunday which is very much possible given Monday is a holiday. The 3-day opening weekend is heading for 19-20+ crores while the extended weekend could be around 25+ crores. ## The positive word of mouth is clearly showing its effect but the real test for the movie will begin after Monday Bakrid holiday.
