Thalapathy 68: Makers Finalizes Lead Actress Opposite Thalapathy Vijay In Director Venkat Prabhu's Next
Chennai, October 2 - Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for the release of the highly-anticipated Pan India movie "Leo" which is scheduled for October 19, 2023. It is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Seven Screen Studio. ## The shoot of "Leo" has been wrapped up and the team is now busy with the post-production work. Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay has already confirmed his next film with director Venkat Prabhu. Tentatively titled "Thalapathy 68", the movie marks the maiden collaboration between Thalapathy and Venkat Prabhu.## Now, as per the latest reports in Tamil media, the makers have roped in Telugu actress Meenakshi Chaudhary to play the female lead opposite Thalapathy Vijay. It will be her first film with the superstar and her third Tamil movie after "Kolai" and the upcoming "Singapore Saloon".## "Thalapathy 68" will reportedly be launched officially tomorrow (October 2) while the regular shoot will commence a day later on 3rd October. It will be produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram's AGS Entertainment which also produced Thalapathy's "Bigil" (2019). ## Yuvan Shankar Raja is on board to compose the music for the upcoming movie that marks his reunion with the superstar after 20 years of "Pudhiya Geethai" (2003), which remains their only collaboration to date.## Stay tuned...
