
Box Office: 'Inside Out 2' Outgross 'The Avengers' To Become All-Time 10th Highest-Grossing Film
Mumbai, August 1 - Disney's Pixar blockbuster Inside Out 2 has cracked the all-time top 10 highest-grossing movies at the worldwide box office, after outgrossing Marvel Studios/Disney's The Avengers through 8th Wednesday. ## The coming-of-age film animated tentpole has topped $1.524 billion (12765 crores) after the 8th Wednesday and has crossed The Avengers's $1.523 billion to become the 10th highest-grossing film ever at the global box office.## Directed by Kelsey Mann in his feature directorial debut, Inside Out 2 has grossed $618.7 million (5180 crores) in North America while the overseas collection is $905.3 million (7585 crores). It is already the highest-grossing animated movie worldwide. ## Mexico is the biggest international market for IO2 with $100.5 million, followed by Brazil where it has become the highest-grossing movie ever with $77.3 million. The UK is the third biggest with $65 million while Korea ($58 million) and France ($55.6 million) are at the 4th and 5th spot.## Inside Out 2 was released on June 12 internationally before debuting in North America on June 14. It scored $295 million in its worldwide opening weekend which is the biggest for an animated movie ever. The sequel topped $1 billion gross in just 19 days, again making it the fastest animated title to reach the milestone.## The movie is projected to finish its lifetime run between $1.60 billion and $1.70 billion.
