Tips Announces Sequel To 2003's Hit 'Ishq Vishk', Titled 'Ishq Vishk Rebound'

Mumbai, June 2 - Last year, it was reported that the sequel to Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's 2003 coming-of-age romcom "Ishq Vishk" is in the development at Tips Films studio. On Thursday (June 2), Tips officially confirmed the sequel, titled "Ishq Vishk Rebound" and shoot for the same has already commenced. ## "Ishq Vishk", directed by Ken Ghosh, marked Shahid Kapoor's acting debut and it made him an overnight star. Shahid pairing with Amrita Rao was much loved and appreciated after which the duo went on to do three more movies together, including the blockbuster "Vivah". ## "Ishq Vishk Rebound", which is being directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, stars a fresh ensemble cast, Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal in prominent roles. The original movie also featured Vishal Malhotra and Shenaz Treasury. ## Tips took to Twitter and announced the second installment of the movie. But yes, we have tremendous respect for each other as artists and recently Shahid also expressed on social media that he misses working with me, which was very sweet. Why Shahid and I were never cast together after 'Vivah' is a million-dollar question and something to think about".## After Ishq Vishk, Shahid and Amrita were also seen together in Sooraj Barjatya's Vivah (2006) which became a blockbuster, and Life Ho Toh Aisi (2005). She worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Main Hoon Na (2004). Amrita says it was Gauri Khan who spotted her in a commercial for a coffee brand and chose her for the movie.## Amrita recently blessed with a baby boy with hubby RJ Anmol.
