Shraddha Kapoor's 'Stree 2' To Get More Screens In Clash With 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Vedaa'

Mumbai, July 16 - In one of the biggest box office clashes of the year, Shraddha Kapoor's highly-anticipated horror-comedy Stree 2 to battle it out with Akshay Kumar's comedy-drama Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's action drama Vedaa on August 15, Independence Day.## While a three-way clash is always a risky move, the makers of the respective films have already reportedly started blocking screens, confirming that they are in no mood to back out and let go of that lucrative date with a month to go for the release. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Stree 2 is running ahead to grab the maximum number of screens against Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, due to being a highly anticipated movie and strong distribution team. The report says that Stree 2 will be co-distributed by Pen Marudhar and PVR Pictures in India, giving the film an upper hand over the competitors, with regards to screen share and showcasing. ## With Stree 2 most likely getting the maximum number of screens, it will be the fight between Khel Khel Mein, which will be distributed by Panorama Studios and Vedaa by Zee Studios to finish second in terms of getting screens and shows.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, June 12 - The Independence Day 2024 weekend is getting interesting after rumours hit social media that Allu Arjun's Pan India movie, Pushpa 2 - The Rule was postponed to a new date. Now, the date is being occupied by other movies. ## Recently, John Abraham's Vedaa announced the release on August 15, 2024, and now, according to the latest reports, Akshay Kumar's comedy-drama Khel Khel Mein is also coming on the same date. Mumbai, April 27 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar teamed up with director Mudassar Aziz for a comedy entertainer Khel Khel Mein which marks the actor's return to this space after nearly 5 years. The movie is said to be a situational comedy revolving around the lives of 3 couples. ## The shoot of Khel Khel Mein has been wrapped up and now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the makers have locked the September 6, 2024, release date for the same. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Amy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal and will be released during Akshay Kumar's birthday week. ## "It's a situation comedy and the makers will open up the plot with their assets over the coming few months, leading to the theatrical release on September 6", says the report. ## Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar's next release is Sudha Kongara-directed, Sarfira, which is scheduled to be released on July 12. Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' Entire Cast Revealed

Mumbai, March 30 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar teamed up with director Mudassar Aziz for a comedy entertainer, titled Khel Khel Mein. The shoot of the film commenced in October last year and now, the makers have announced its wrap. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar Krishan Kumar Vipul D Shah Ashwin Varde and Rajesh Bahl and co-produced by Shashi Sinha and Ajay Rai, Khel Khel Mein also features Taapsee Pannu as the female lead as she reunite with Akshay Kumar after Mission Mangal (2019). ## Apart from Akshay and Taapsee, the makers have revealed rest of the cast. Actress Vaani Kapoor reunites with Akshay after Bell Bottom (2021), and the film also has Ammy Virk Aditya Seal Pragya Jaiswal and Fardeen Khan, in prominent roles. ## Khel Khel Mein was shot in London and Udaipur. Akshay Kumar's Comedy Film 'Khel Khel Mein' With Director Mudassar Aziz Is The Remake of A Blockbuster Italian Movie?

Mumbai, July 19 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar would be teaming up with "Pati Patni Aur Woh" director Mudassar Aziz for a comedy-drama film. The movie is reportedly titled "Khel Khel Mein" and has Tapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor as the female leads. ## According to Pinkvilla, "Khel Khel Mein" is the official Hindi adaptation of a blockbuster Italian movie "Perfect Strangers" (2016). It was a critically as well as commercially successful movie, grossing over $32 million, and has already been remade in more than 20 countries. ## "Mudassar Aziz has been eager to make an Indian version of it for a long time and has adapted the screenplay in a desi style to suit the sensibilities of Indian audiences", the report says, adding that the shoot will commence in October this year and it will be shot in a two-month straight schedule in the UK. ## The movie was supposed to go on floors early this year but the production got delayed due to Akshay's other commitments. Produced by Ashwin Varde and Bhushan Kumar, the pre-production of the movie is happening at a brisk pace to start shooting on schedule. ## Akshay Kumar, meanwhile, is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited "OMG 2" which is scheduled for August 11 release. Shooting Schedule For Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Sky Force' Revealed

Mumbai, March 8 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will be teaming up with director Mudassar Aziz and producer Dinesh Vijan for two different films. While there is no official confirmation from the makers yet, Akshay's film with Mudassar is reportedly titled "Khel Khel Mein" and "Sky Force" is the title of Vijan's production. ## Akshay is at present on a tour to the US for his live concert titled "The Entertainers". Soon after, he will head to Europe to commence work on the international schedule of director Ali Abbas Zadar's highly-anticipated "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan", co-starring Tiger Shroff. He is expected to call a wrap on BMCM by mid-April this year.## Now, according to the latest reports, right after Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akki will move on to Khel Khel Mein, which is an out-and-out comedy entertainer. The film will reportedly be shot completely in the UK over a period of one month in April and May. ## As has been the case with Akshay throughout his career, he won't be taking a break after Khel Khel Mein, instead, he will start Vijan's Sky Force in May itself. "The actor plays the role of an Indian Air Force Officer and the film celebrates one of the biggest victories of the Indian Air Force. The story is based on true events and the team is looking to start working on Sky Force from May 2023", reports Pinkvilla. ## The pre-production on Sky Force is going on in full swing. It will be the first time that Akshay will play an Air Force Officer for the first time. The report says a newcomer will join Akki playing his junior.
