Ajay Devgn's 'Raid 2' Gets A New Release Date

Mumbai, September 11 - Ajay Devgn-fronted crime thriller Raid 2 has officially been postponed to February next year. The movie is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor in the prominent roles. ## Raid 2, which is the sequel to Raid (2018), will be hitting worldwide theaters on February 21, 2025. It was supposed to be released on November 15 this year but due to another film of Ajay scheduled to be released in November in the form of Singham Again, the makers have pushed Raid 2 back by nearly 4 months. ## Just like the first movie, Raid 2 is also based on true incidents. Ajay Devgn returns to reprise his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who tracks another white-collar crime. Riteish Deshmukh plays the antagonist role while Vaani is the female lead and both are the new addition to the cast. ## Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banners of T-Series and Panorama Studios. Sanjay Dutt Dropped From 'Son of Sardaar 2': Report

Mumbai, August 6 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn-fronted Son of Sardaar 2 has reportedly dropped actor Sanjay Devgn from its massive ensamble cast due to the visa denial for the United Kingdom. The action comedy is being directed by Vijay Kumar Arora.## The shooting for Son of Sardaar 2 recently commenced in Scotland, the UK with Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur joining the first schedule. According to the latest report by mid-day, Sanjay Dutt was supposed to join the team in the ongoing schedule but has now been dropped due to visa issues.## Mid-Day has reported that Dutt's visa application was rejected because of his incarceration in the past. The actor was unable to procure a UK visa in the past as well. Actor Ravi Kishan, who has been roped in to play a prominent role, has reportedly replaced Sanjay Dutt in the movie.## It is to be noted that the makers of Son of Sardaar 2 haven't officially announced the cast of the movie yet. Mumbai, June 6 - The shooting of Ajay Devgn-fronted Raid 2 has reportedly been completed and it has now entered the post-production stage. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the movie also stars Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh in prominent roles and is gearing up for release soon. ## Raid 2 is the sequel to 2018's hit crime thriller Raid which was based on the real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s. Blockbuster 'Drishyam' Franchise To Be Remade In Hollywood

Mumbai, February 29 - The blockbuster Indian suspense thriller film franchise Drishyam is set to be remade in the English language. India's Panorama Studios has joined hands with U.S. companies Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films to bring the movie to Hollywood. ## Drishaym was originally made in Malayalam language, starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. It was remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles in 2015 and later, a sequel in both languages released in 2021 and 2022, respectively. ## Panorama Studios produced the Hindi version and also acquired the international remake rights to Drishyam 1 & 2 from the original producers, Aashirvad Cinemas. The studio has already announced a Korean-language remake of the film in 2023 and is close to finalising a deal to remake the movie in Spanish-language. ## "Drishyam's clever narrative has a universal appeal and we are keen to celebrate this story with audiences worldwide.
