Mumbai, December 19 - The sequel to Bollywood star Ajay Devgn's romantic comedy De De Pyaar De has officially been postponed and will be released on November 14, 2025. ## Directed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 was supposed to hit the big screen on May 1st, 2025, a date which has now been taken by Devgn's crime thriller Raid 2. The new release date of DDPD2 is exactly a year after Raid 2's original release date of November 14, 2024. ## DDPD 2, produced by T-Series and Luv Films, will see Ajay Devgn reprise his role along with Rakul Preet Singh, who also returns to reprise his character from the first movie released in 2019. R. The actress already has Chhaava and Thama with the studio and their collaboration extended to one more film. ## Recently, it was reported that Maddock Films to scheduling the sequel to 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail with an entirely new cast. It was revealed that Shahid Kapoor has been signed on to headline Cocktail 2, taking over from Saif Ali Khan, who played the lead in the first film alongside Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. ## Now, according to the latest report, Rashmika Mandanna has been locked to play one of the female leads opposite Shahid in this love triangle sequel. He has already lined up the sequel to Pati, Patni Aur Woh and potentially Aashiqui 3 as well. ## At a time when sequels to successful films have almost become a guarantee of emerging hits, Kartik has reportedly started talks with filmmaker Luv Ranjan, with whom he has worked on 4 films, to make the second part of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which was a huge success for the duo in 2018. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Kartik and Luv Ranjan have initiated talks for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, with plans to start filming in the second half of 2025. The yet-untitled movie will be produced by Luv Ranjan who reunites with the actor after De De Pyaar De and its upcoming sequel.## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, the yet-untitled film is a book adaptation. It is said that the movie is based on Aseem Arora and Richa Ganesh's 2018 book, Ranger. Set against the backdrop of Bandhavgarh's sprawling wilderness, the book follows Ranger Singh, a rookie forest officer, stepping into a world rife with corruption, neglect, and an alarming tiger crisis.## Aseem Arora is adapting the book himself, however, the movie does not entirely adhere to the original material, as the makers are opting for an Indiana Jones-style narrative to make it more commercially appealing, as per Peepingmoon.com. ## Director Jagan Shakti intends to mount the movie on a massive scale with a promise to deliver a top-notch cinematic experience for the audience. 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' Scores Big On Netflix In The Opening Weekend
