Salman Khan In Talks To Do A Period Action Thriller Film After Battle of Galwan; Details Revealed

Mumbai, August 5 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start shooting for the director Apoorva Lakhia's war action thriller Battle of Galwan this month. It will start with a 30-day schedule in Ladakh. But before starting the shoot, the superstar is busy discussing his next films. ## According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star's next movie after Battle of Galwan could be a period action thriller with Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan. The duo has already done 4-5 meetings, and things are said to be in the advanced stage. ## "Salman Khan and Mahesh Narayanan have been jamming on multiple ideas, and Salman has given a go-ahead to the filmmaker on a period thriller with action. The film in discussion will be set in the 1970s to 1990s, and Mahesh will now come back for a full-length narration soon", said the report. ## After doing routine masala entertainers, Salman is looking to explore new genres now, which challenge him in his next films. Battle of Galwan is one such film, followed by Mahesh Narayanan's period thriller, which is expected to be officially finalised before the year's end. ## Apart from Mahesh Narayanan, Salman is also in talks with Kabir Khan for a possible collaboration. The duo is discussing multiple ideas, including the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Mumbai, May 30 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start his next film, which is with director Apoorva Lakhia, about the Galwan Valley Clash between India and China. While the movie is slated to go on floors in a couple of months, Salman is actively in talks with several other directors. ## It is said that Salman Khan has reportedly been talking to Kabir Khan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Anees Bazmee, and Rajkumar Periasamy. Now, according to the report by PeepingMoon.com, the "Sultan" star is in talks with Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan for an action thriller film. ## The report states that Narayanan held talks with Salman in Mumbai for a large-scale action thriller. We had COVID, we had an accident on the set where people died. It's so unnerving but we continued. I run a white elephant called Raaj Kamal Films and Mr. Shankar runs a company called S Productions. You cannot just stand somewhere and make movies with that limited knowledge. I am someone who didn't have a lot of exposure before coming into movies. I come from a very conservative family, I started watching movies only after I got into movies. I stand in an industry where my peers are so intelligent and excellent in terms of their knowledge, craft and skills about movies." ## Defining Malayalam cinema as a competitive space, he says: "It is a very competitive Industry because Malayalam cinema is now known everywhere and they are creating content every week which is working out around India. Will Fahadh Faasil's 'Malik' Head For Direct To OTT Release Despite Stern Warning From Kerala Film Body?

Kochi, June 9, 2021: Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil's upcoming political crime drama film, Malik is one of the most waited Malayalam films. The movie was scheduled for May 13 release on the occasion of Eid in theaters, however, the devastating second wave of the covid-19 pandemic forced the makers to postpone it once again. ## Fahadh Faasil's 'Malik' has been effectively postponed on multiple occasions.
