Diljit Dosanjh's 'Sardaar Ji 3' To Not Release In India

New Delhi, June 26 - Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3 will not be releasing in India amid the growing controversy over the inclusion of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film. The movie will now only be released outside the domestic market. ## Ever since the trailer of the film has been released, Sardaar Ji 3 is facing the heat as many people and film bodies objected to the casting of Hania Aamir, especially after the recent Phalagam terrorist attack in which Pakistani terrorists were involved in the killing of 26 tourists. ## Many people expressed their anger after the trailer was launched and asked the government to ban the film. Understanding the seriousness of the issue, the makers of Sardaar Ji 3 released a statement, confirming that the film won't be released in India. ## In the statement, the makers stated that " The film was shot well before the prevailing situation that our country is facing now, and it was never ever the case that any Pakistani artist was signed or was engaged after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam". ## Diljit Dosanjh, meanwhile, has backed the decision of makers to not release the movie in India in respect to the sentiments of the people. He also said that a lot of money has been invested in the film; hence, he is with the makers in whatever decision they have made, even though they will lose money for not releasing the film in the home market. ## Sardaar Ji 3 is a horror action comedy, directed by Amar Hundal and produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu, and Diljit Dosanjh under White Hill Studios and Story Time Productions. The decision of changing the title is taken after Karni Sena objected to it and decided to not let the movie screen. ## The producers have reportedly written a letter to the national president, youth president, and the Maharashtra president of the Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena on Friday to convey their decision that the film has now been titled Samrat Prithviraj.## It is reported that Karni Sena has no objection to the story of the film and had reportedly given a green signal after watching it. Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj' Trailer To Release On May 9

Mumbai, May 5 - The hugely-awaited historical action drama film, "Prithviraj" starring superstar Akshay Kumar in the title role, is releasing worldwide on June 3rd. The anticipation for the movie is building up nicely as the release is getting nearer. ## According to reports, the trailer of "Prithviraj" will be released on May 9 and it will be attached to the prints of Ranveer Singh's "Jayeshbhai Jordaar" in theaters from May 13th. The trailer will be launched in presence of the media at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, followed by a digital launch. ## The trailer launch event of "Prithviraj" will reportedly be attended by the lead pair, Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, along with director Chandraprakash Dwivedi. It trailer will also kick-start the promotion of the movie with the music launch, city tours, and interviews to follow up. ## Produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films, "Prithviraj" is written and directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi who put years into the research to pen the script.
