Box Office: Thalapathy Vijay's Blockbuster 'Leo' Hits 600 Crores Worldwide In 25 Days

Chennai, November 13 - Thalapathy Vijay's mega-blockbuster Leo has become the third Tamil movie of all-time to top 600 crores at the worldwide box office, after superstar Rajinikanth-led blockbusters "2.0" and "Jailer". ## The action thriller, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is slowing down at the box office but has done its job in the first three weeks. It has completed 25 days in theatres with a worldwide gross collection of approx. 600 crores, a first for Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj. ## "Leo" is the second Tamil movie of the year to breach this box office mark after "Jailer". The 600+ crores worldwide gross includes approx. 203 crores overseas collection (studio estimates) while the domestic collection is a little over 397 crores. The movie should be able to top 400 crores in domestic gross in the next few days. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studio, "Leo" will be looking to cross "Jailer" (604.50 crores) to become the second highest-grossing Tamil movie of all time. It will also surpass "PS-1" by today or tomorrow to become the highest-grossing film ever in Tamil Nadu state and a new industry hit in the state. ## "Leo" has had a good run in the Hindi language, in which it is one of the highest-grossing Tamil movies. Mumbai, September 20 - Thalapathy Vijay's gangster drama Leo is one of the most-anticipated films. Directed by Atlee Kumar, the movie is scheduled to release on October 19 in multiple languages, including Hindi.## According to the latest reports, "Leo" might not be released in the national multiplex chains in the Hindi language.
