Hyderabad, July 20 - Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for an ambitious socio-fantasy action entertainer Vishwambhara which is being directed by Bimbisara fame Mallidi Vashishta. It marks the duo's maiden collaboration which is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Telugu movies of 2025. ## Produced by UV Creations, Vishwambhara is scheduled to be released on January 10, 2025, during the Sankranthi festival weekend. With under 6 months left for the release, the makers are gearing up to release the first asset of the movie on Chiranjeevi's birthday on August 22. ## According to the latest Telugu media reports, a first-look glimpse teaser of Vishwambhara will be released on August 22 on the megastar's 69th birthday. Box Office: Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' Scored Disappointing Opening Weekend Worldwide

Hyderabad, August 14 - The Indian box office created history during the weekend of August 11-13 with all the movies running in theaters currently grossing close to 400 crores. However, in-between raining blockbusters, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's "Bholaa Shankar" disappointed big time and registered a low opening weekend at the domestic as well as global box office.## Directed by Meher Ramesh, "Bholaa Shankar" was expected to continue the winning run for Chiranjeevi after the big blockbuster success of "Waltair Veerayya" earlier this year. But it was not the case as "Bholaa Shankar" recorded one of the lowest weekend collections for the superstar in recent times.## "Bhola Shankar" grossed approx. 36 crores worldwide, including just 5 crores at the overseas box office over the 3-day weekend. Domestically, the movie grossed 31 crores approx., including approx. 21.75 crores share collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana).## The AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials' production venture needs to gross at least 125 crores worldwide to reach the break-even target, for which, the movie needs a miracle which is not looking to happen. Mega 157: Megastar Chiranjeevi Finalizes His Next Film

Hyderabad, August 13 - Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's latest release "Bholaa Shankar" fails to woo the audiences as it crashed badly on its second day after a decent opening. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the movie will find it difficult to bounce back from hereon and is likely to end up as a big failure.## Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi has already finalized his next film. The veteran actor has teamed with director Mallidi Vasistha whose last directorial "Bimbisara" was a huge blockbuster. The upcoming project will be Chiranjeevi's 157th film. ## "Mega 157" will be produced by UV Creations and it is touted to be a social fantasy film. Hyderabad, August 9 - Veteran Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi is gearing up his second release of the year in the form of "Bholaa Shankar". It is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film "Vedalam", and also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, and Sushanth in prominent roles.## Directed by Meher Ramesh, "Bhola Shankar" is one of the least hyped movies of megastar Chiranjeevi which led to below-expected response in advance sales. Scheduled to release on August 11, the movie, however, is still to open with a good collection due to Chiranjeevi's star power and well-received promos.## Chiranjeevi's last film "Waltair Veerayya" emerged as a super hit at the box office, despite that, the pre-release theatrical business of "Bhola Shankar" is the lowest (yet good) for the actor in recent times. The movie has been valued at approx. 80 crores worldwide which will be its break-even target to emerge as a clean hit, according to T2BLive.## In two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the movie has been valued at approx. 67.50 crores, including 22 crores in the Nizam area. Prabhas' Romantic Actioner 'Varsham' To Re-Release On His Birthday?

Hyderabad, September 10 - Superstar Prabhas' 2004 romantic actioner Varsham is getting ready for re-release with remastered version. The movie, directed by Sobhan, will most likely to re-release on Prabhas birthday on October 23 or a day before. ## Produced by M.S. Raju under the banner of Sumanth Art Productions banner, Varsham was the third highest-grossing Telugu film of 2004. It also starred Trisha Krishnan, and Gopichand along with Prakash Raj and Chandra Mohan, among others. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. ## Varsham was remade in multiple other languages, including Hindi as "Baaghi", starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor.
