Akshay Kumar To Reunite With Director Milan Luthria For An Actioner, To Be Produced By Siddharth Anand

Mumbai, August 21 - Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is teaming up with filmmaker Siddharth Anand for a big-scale action entertainer, to be directed by Milan Luthria. Anand will produce the movie with his wife Mamta Anand under their production company, Marflix.## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Akshay and Siddharth have been discussing a film for a while now and things finally come to fruition. It is said that Anand has got together the director-writer duo of Milan Luthria and Rajat Arora to develop an action film set against the zone of a vigilante film. ## The report further stated that Akshay Kumar was the unanimous choice of Siddharth Anand, Milan Luthria and Rajat Arora when the script was locked and the actor also felt that this was the right film for him to associate with at this point. ## It will be Akshay's second film with director Milan Luthria after 2013's gangster movie, Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara! A Sequel To Vidya Balan's Hit 'The Dirty Picture' Is In The Making?

Mumbai, August 16 - Actress Vidya Balan's The Dirty Picture (2011) holds a special mention in one of the boldest woman-centric films in Indian cinema. The Milan Luthria-directed film broke many stereotypes and went on to become a big hit at the box office, at a time when woman-centric films were hardly on the scene. ## "The Dirty Picture", apart from becoming a commercial success, also won multiple accolades, including three National Film Awards one for Best Actress. It has been over a decade since the movie was released but it is still remembered for opening the door for woman-centric films. Now, according to peepingmoon.com, the sequel to "The Dirty Picture" is in the making without Vidya Balan. ## It is said that producer Ekta Kapoor has been planning a sequel to the movie and she has finally cracked an idea for the same. Kanika Dillon has reportedly been attached to write the script for the sequel along with a male writer. Ekta and her team at Balaji Motion Pictures are all excited about this special project and plan to take it to the floors in the first quarter of 2023. ## Meanwhile, even before the script is locked, Kriti Sanon and Taapsee Pannu have reportedly approached Ekta to consider them for the role in "The Dirty Picture 2", but Ekta has requested them to wait until the writing is finished. Tadap Slides Downard on 2nd Friday

Mumbai, Dec 11, 2021: Tadap slides downward on its 2nd Friday with collections of 1.03 Cr India net. The film has faced competition due to the release of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and lost a substantial amount of screens and shows but despite that, the film should have collected more on its 2nd Friday. ## The drop is approx 31% from Thursday as Thursday collected 1.51 Cr.
