Dies Irae had its premiere on October 30, earning approximately 1 crore domestically through limited shows. The film expanded widely on Friday and witnessed an excellent response at the box office. As per early estimates, it collected around 4.50 crore on its first full day, taking the total domestic gross to roughly 5.50 crore. The film's opening marks the third biggest of 2025 for a Malayalam title, behind only L2: Empuraan and Thudarum, and also stands as the biggest-ever debut for an A-rated Malayalam film.
