Mumbai, May 22 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly-awaited Pan India movie Spirit with superstar Prabhas, seems to have a major casting shift after Deepika Padukone reportedly exited the film for some reason. ## It is said that Deepika was officially on board to play the female lead role, but has now been dropped from the film. According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, SRV got the shock of his life when Deepika Padukone refused to shoot for more than 6 hours a day for Spirit. ## Apart from the shooting hours, Deepika, through her agency, reportedly demanded an amendment to the contract. Their point of contention was simple - if the shoot extends beyond 100 days, Deepika will have to be paid extra for every single day of the shoot beyond the commitment on paper. ## The report further states that director Vanga, along with the producers, tried their best to sort out the issues, but the actress refused to bow down, eventually leading Vanga to drop the Kalki actress from the movie. The actress had earlier turned down the offer as the shooting timelines did not match due to her pregnancy. However, due to a delay in the shoot, SRV approached Deepika again and this time, she agreed to come on board. ## Spirit was originally scheduled to go on floors by the end of last year, but was delayed, and it will now commence in the next few months, as confirmed by producer Bhushan Kumar. Bombay High Court Allows Release of Annu Kapoor's 'Hamare Baarah'

Mumbai, June 19 - The Bombay High Court has allowed the release of Annu Kapoor's Hamare Baarah after the makers agreed to delete some objectionable scenes. The movie, which was supposed to be released on June 7, will now hit screens on June 21. ## According to Bar and Bench, a bench of Justices BP Colabawalla and Firdosh Pooniwalla watched the film and suggested changes which both the moviemakers and the petitioners agreed to. ## The court, after a thorough review, also said that the movie did not contain any objectionable content against the Quran or the Muslim community, instead, the court found the movie to be aimed at the "upliftment of women", according to NDTV report. ## "The movie is in fact for the upliftment of women. The movie has a Maulana misinterpreting the Quran and in fact, one Muslim man objects to the same in the scene. So this shows that people should apply their mind and not blindly follow such Maulanas", the high court said. ## Meanwhile, the court imposed a fine of Rs. 5 lakh on the makers of the movie for releasing the trailer before getting CBFC certification. The fine is to be donated to a charity of the petitioners' choice. "Violation was there vis-a-vis the trailer. So you will have to pay something towards a charity of the petitioner's choice. The cost will have to be paid. This litigation has got the film so much unpaid publicity", the court added.## Hamare Baarah is directed by Kamal Chandra and it also stars Rahul Bagga, Manoj Joshi, and Ashwini Kalsekar, among others.
