Yash Officially Confirms 'Toxic' Postponement; Also Talks About Epic 'Ramayana'

Mumbai, October 22 - After the mega success of KGF: Chapter 2, superstar Yash returned to set with the upcoming gangster action drama Toxic which is being directed by national award-winning director Geethu Mohandas. The film is currently on floors and will be released next year. ## Toxic was announced last year with the release date which was April 10, 2025. However, it was recently reported that the movie had been postponed due to date issues of involved actors. The movie has Nayanathara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi, among others in prominent roles. ## Now, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the superstar officially confirmed that Toxic won't be released on April 10. He said that it was premature to announce the release date even before the shoot started and not considering the schedules of other actors. ## When asked about the new release date, Yash said that he doesn't want to announce it right now and would make things official in due time. The actor also confirmed that Oscar and National award-winning company, DNEG is going the VFX work of Toxic. ## Apart from Toxic, Yash is also working on the epic Ramayana which he called a dream passion project. The actor said that he was in Los Angeles where he discussed the possible collaboration with Namit Malhotra, who has been working on Ramayana for many years, and that's where they decided to work on this and Yash came on board to play Ravan/Lankesh. ## Yash confirmed that he is co-producing Ramayana with Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus as the two have the same vision to take Indian cinema globally with this epic. The actor said that he is playing the role of Ravan, which many believe is the masterstroke, with Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. ## While Ranbir Kapoor was the first choice for the role of Ram, Yash said that it was a collective decision of the makers to bring Sai Pallavi on board for the character of Sita. Mumbai, February 21 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has won the Best Actor award at the Dadasahab Phalke International Film Festival Awards (DPIFF) 2024. The actor won this honour for mega-blockbuster Jawan in which he played a dual role. ## The superstar said in his acceptance speech, "Thank you for accepting me as a best actor. I hadn't won the Best Actor award for a while now and thought that I wouldn't receive it now. But I am so happy I got this award. I am genuinely thrilled and touched".## While SRK grabbed the Best Actor, actress Nayanthara took the Best Actress award for the same film that marked her Bollywood debut. She was presented the award by Shah Rukh Khan himself for her super performance in Jawan, directed by Atlee. ## Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga won the Best Director award at the Dadasahab Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024 for the movie Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor. Mumbai, August 3 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's most-awaited film Jawan is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. ## It was recently reported that director Atlee, who is making his Hindi debut with this film, and Shah Rukh Khan are looking to bring the best South talent on board the movie and reportedly approached Vijay Sethupathi to play the villain. ## Now, Vijay Sethupathi has been confirmed to lock horns with SRK and he will be playing the main villain in the film. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya Confident About Success Of 'Bangarraju'

Hyderabad, Jan 10 (IANS) The musical night event of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya-starrer 'Bangarraju' was held in Hyderabad as the father-son duo sounded confident about the movie's success.## Nagarjuna, during his speech, revealed that the theatrical trailer of 'Bangarraju' will be launched on January 11, a couple of days before the movie hits the screens.## The 'Manmadhudu' actor also remembers January 14, the release date of 'Bangarraju', as an important day for Annapurna Studios, because it was founded on the same date.## As the movie is prepping up with the other release formalities, Nagarjuna said, "Bangarraju is a proper Sankranthi festival film.
