Lionsgate Sets Release Date For Heist Film 'Now You See Me 3'
Mumbai, July 3 - Lionsgate studio has set the official release for the third instalment of its magic-themed heist film franchise Now You See Me, directed by Ruben Fleischer. ## Starring Jesse Eisenberg, the threequel will be released on November 14, 2025. The development of Now You See Me 3 was first confirmed in April 2020 when Lionsgate brought on screenwriter Warren Singer to pen the script to add a fresh take to the story. ## The plot details of the movie have been kept under wraps but the movie reintroduces audiences to the thieving illusionists known as the Four Horseman with Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman returning to reprise their roles, with Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike among those aboard for new roles. ## The first movie of the franchise was released in 2013 and went on to gross over $350 million at the worldwide box office against a budget of $75 million. The sequel, released in 2016, had a budget of over $90 million but the collection dropped to $335 million, as the franchise has so far grossed $685 million from two movies. ## Stay tuned...
